Update instructions - Games connected to Stern Insider Connected:
1 - Open the coin door and press the black/enter button to enter Test Mode.
2 - Using the 4 buttons on the coin door, navigate to the Stern Insider
Connected Setup menu.
3 - Using the 4 buttons on the coin door, navigate down to the Software Update
menu.
4 - If a software update is available, this page will give you the option to
download and install it manually. From this menu you can also select to
install these updates automatically.
Update instructions - All Games:
1 - Download the zip file
2 - Unzip the file, this will create a folder that contains SPK file(s).
3 - Open the folder, copy the file(s) to the root level of a FAT32 formatted
USB stick. (Do not copy the folder.)
4 - Power game off
5 - Insert USB stick
6 - Turn on game
7 - After game boots up it will give the option for software update
8 - Volume buttons change options for full or quick update. Enter selects the
option and starts the update.
9 - Once update is completed game will prompt user to power game off and
remove USB stick.

FINAL BATTLE
- The Final Battle is qualified by completing all 6 cities, playing the two city wizard modes,

- No more cities can be visited once you've played them all until The Final Battle is played.
- Phase 1:
Hurry up value counts down, shoot Pat and Dave shots to collect, hit enough to free them.
Hit both bot targets on left and right of the right ramp to spot a Dave shot.
Now free the other four band members: Rami (Left orbit), Nate (Upper Loop), Chris (Right Orbit),
and Taylor (Side Ramp). Each hurry up grows in multiplier, from 1x to 4x.
- Phase 2:
All shots light to do damage to Overlord, hit one and it goes out, with a score and
damage multiplier 1x 2x 3x etc. Overlord does 1x damage, relights shots, and resets multiplier
- Phase 3:
All shots do damage, hitting any shot relights all others.
Hit both Overlord targets to light a Super Jackpot. Hitting Overlord targets moves Super Jackpot.
Scoring Super Jackpot adds a ball into play.
All scores multiplied by number of balls in play
- After The Final Battle is played, all Foobot parts are lost, but a permanent Foobot Part Multiplier is incremented,
for example after The Final Battle any active or upgraded Foobot shot multipliers earned will be 3x instead of 2x.
FOOBOT MULTIBALL
- Starts with 3 balls in play (previously 6) with add-a-ball opportunities
- Each time you hit the band member shot, the jackpot multiplier is increased.
- Overlord will now need to be made an increasing amount of times to relight the shots,
each hit will continue to score the current jackpot value at the current multiplier
- After enough Overlord shots are made, the band member shots relight.
Every other time this is done will add a ball into play (starting with the second time)
- Background instructions added along with current jackpot value and multiplier,
and super jackpot value and multiplier
- Auto plunges during Foobot Multiball will not score side ramp
- Speech added
- Lightshows added
- Foobot Multiball scoring changed:
- Jackpot values are now 3 million + a percentage of mode points for the associated foobot part

SONIC RADIO
-New Sonic Radio mode started by collecting enough mystery awards from the sonic radio targets
and reaching the sweet spot on the radio dial.
-Timed mode that starts at 50 seconds shown by the radio dial creeping back to the left.
-All shots lit gray to boost radio signal and increase the value of the sonic radio.
-Hitting a gray shot turns it into a pink sonic radio shot.
-Hit pink shots to collect sonic radio value and build radio jackpot.
-After hitting any shot, the sonic radio targets will be available to add 15 seconds back to your timer.
-Once all pink shots have been collected, all shots relight, and sonic radio targets light to collect
radio jackpot and end the mode and award the upgraded Right Leg Foobot part.

OVERDRIVE
-Overdrive is now ON at game start.
-Remove Overdrive display effect for PRO during multiballs since hitting the flipper doesn't do anything
(ball is always immediately saved, no overdrive points awarded during multiballs)
-If overdrive is qualified, overdrive light will now be on regardless of if ball save is running.
It will continue to only trigger overdrive if there is no ball save (light effect change only).
-Allow overdrive targets to be scored when radio mystery is lit to make overdrive and mystery awards a little friendlier.
-Improve logic for Overdrive and Bomb ball savers during multiballs.
-When Overdrive is lit, the left outlane switch will immediately trigger a ball save from the trough.
UFO
-UFO insert will now be on anytime you can advance the ufo towards UFO action button awards.
When UFO insert is blinking, in addition to scoring the UFO Bonus, +1 extra progress is awarded
toward UFO action button awards. This allows you to build UFO action button progress during multiball
(when made from a Rami orbit combo).
-Improve UFO action button logic.
-UFO button improvements during Overlord multiball.
VAN MODS
-Balance van mods:
-Completing drop targets will now advance 1 level (in addition to hitting the paddle afterward).
-Getting level 1 now counts as
+20 seconds for engine (previously +30)
+2 shots spotted for bomb (previously +1)
+500k for Speakers (previously +750k)
-There are now 7 levels instead of 6.
VAN MODES
-Tweak New York:
-First spinner lane shot now awards progress.
