Elvira? Ugh. I rather see see something else like Back to the future or Rambo

Quoted from dudah:I question if this will be announced in time for Halloween.
JP2 just hit the line and I doubt Stern wants to slow down those sales.
Sales are already slowing.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Elvira existed solely on TV, PG-13 rated movies, and beer commercials. She's about as raunchy as an episode of Three's Company.
I'm not quite sure people are really even remembering Elvira correctly. Maybe getting her confused with Linda Lovelace?
And yet it seems like if the game doesn't feature her getting titty fucked by a horse or gangbanged by the Universal Monsters people are going to be disappointed that Stern made the game too "PC."
No bukkake?
Quoted from JodyG:Looks fun to play, but I wouldn't drop $8k on one. And the LE/SLE offers very little extra value for the money, in my opinion.
Agreed.
Quoted from spfxted:Prem $7999, so what does that translate in the real world?
Heard 7700
Quoted from Whysnow:It does not give me much confidence when distributors are saying they "heard" clear coat is fixed, but then also only accept non-refundable or contestable forms of payment.
"I heard clear cost issue is resloved. payment Cash, check or bankwire"
I think it would be smart for Stern to actually issue a statement IF they have found the root cause of the issue and have addressed it.
From the general consensus I am getting the idea that lots like what they see (besides the price) but are not buying until they have confirmed the clearcoat/pf issues are resolved.
I saw that too. Lmao “heard”. Sure I take your word. So that distributor actually puts his name on the line if the issues really aren’t resolved....good for them.
Quoted from NightTrain:$7700 shipped in the US is what I was quoted.
Still way too much. Approaching 8k for a literal pro model.
Quoted from brucipher:Wow...Stern Premium's are now basically the same price as JJP standards (assuming the Willy Wonka model will continue at JJP). I imagine that is their basis for pricing.
I really want this game - I think it looks great, but I don't think I am a NIB buyer (definitely not a NIB buyer until playfield issues are addressed and commented on). I will probably just wait for some rich guy to play his 50-100 games and be done with it, and pick one up HUO
Yes same here.
Quoted from Whysnow:Just keep in mind that some of these people claiming le and sle are selling for even more... are the same people that told you Beatles was sold out everywhere...
Quoted from cooked71:Same here.
The whole thing looked boring to me. Shots were all the same - same distance from the flippers, same angle, same width, same shots on each side, same boring ramps on each side. The ball might do something different once you make the shot, but it’s still the same shot. And there’s literally nothing else to shoot for.
Can code fix a boring layout? Maybe. Lyman’s the man if it can. Definitely one to sit out and see.
I think JP looks and shoots better. Still waiting to here from Stern on playfield replacement.
