I'm new to the club! Just got my first pin yesterday which is an excellent condition NF. Ordered LED's, ColorDMD and PinSound.

Quoted from mollyspub:

Congratulations ! Your upper flipper is out of adjustment though . Should be farther in so the ball could pass by without hitting the flipper.

Nice catch, thanks. I'll mess with that. Simply enough to adjust I assume?

Thanks for the welcome!

#657 3 years ago
Quoted from mollyspub:

It's no different than adjusting standard flippers. While your at it , wiggle the flipper back and forth to check the looseness of it. The long metal shaft may be worn which is common on this game . The part is specific to NF. Marco had it back in stock last time I looked. I'd get one while you can!

Thank you. I'm a newb, who is Marco? Can you link me please?

Quoted from mymalibu:

I just received my long shaft bushing and long flipper bat, just in case. The game is unplayable without it. Cheers.

Awesome, thanks. I can't seem to find it on their website. Do you mind sending a link to it please?

Thank you, sir! I appreciate you taking the time to do that for me.

I searched by game but there were hundreds of products, so thanks again for the help!

Happy New Year!

Did some work on #NF tonight. Powder coated rails, legs, lockbar and hinges as well as installed PDI glass and mirror blades.

Normally not a big fan of mods/non stock but this looks pretty cool, nice job!

Thanks!

Does anyone have an issue with their NF where the small flat metal piece above the magnets on the back ramp comes up a little bit? This happened when I first got the machine and I took that piece off and reglued it, but it's happening again, causing the ball to get caught up. I used hot glue last time, may use polyurethane (gorilla) this time.

Quoted from Micky:

What metal piece are you talking about? A picture might help.

Quoted from transprtr4u:

Mine was loose and just took the ramp off and cleaned the metal shield. Then I used an epoxy to reattach under the the ramp.
Looks like yours is on the top?

So you attached it between magnet and ramp? Have any pics?

Quoted from Micky:

I have not seen that part before on any of the No Fear pinball machines I have looked at. Mine definitely didn't come with it, and I finished a complete strip down and rebuild from the ground up only last year. The brand new ramps I fitted on mine didn't have that part on it either.
Personally I wouldn't bother trying to fit it back on.

Interesting, thanks. Can you send me a Pic of that spot on yours?

I just brought one home yesterday. Thinking of putting an LED OCD and mirror blades in. Anyone got pictures of mirror blades and whether they fit well or not?

Both worth it!

Quoted from Micky:

What colour is your powder coating? It looks a lot redder in your latest pic but orange in your pics from a year ago. I like it!

Thanks. It's very orange in person, no red at all. It's called illusion orange by prismatic.

(old coin door, I've since swapped out)

Quoted from daveyvandy:

Nice! I like the custom cards and color lcd as well... Adding those to my to-do list.

Thanks! Colordmd is a must!

Quoted from House:

Well I've owned my NF for over a year. After reading through the posts on this thread I found out I have been missing the spinner. I ordered a new one from Marco installed it and realized what I've been missing. The wire frame that was previously installed only worked half the time so now I'm racking up tons more points on that shot. I just got back into pinball last year & I quickly found myself with 10 pins.
Does anyone know of a really good speaker upgrade for the NF? To me the factory speakers seem a bit weak.
I was too cheap to buy NF stickers so I added this decal instead, I think it blends in fine with the theme.[quoted image]

I am in need of an upper flipper long bushing, any chance someone here has an extra they would sell? Please PM me if so
Thanks!

There are a few different fire artblades around
Here are my custom done ones, a one off from NZ, I did the backboard as well

Looks nice! Care to share the file or template? I would be interested in doing something similar, perhaps even a thin mirror. mollyspub

I dialed in the flippers and gave her a good waxing and it's playing so smooth. Really loving this game so far. Are there any must have mods ?

ColorDMD LCD (nicer than LED imo), mirror blades, pinsound, led ocd, led bulbs!
