Quoted from acedanger:I'm confused?? Are they marketing for 60yo or 6yo???
TS was for 6, this is for 60.

Quoted from acedanger:I'm confused?? Are they marketing for 60yo or 6yo???
TS was for 6, this is for 60.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:It's like, the best movie of all time.
Don't see why it couldn't make an awesome pinball machine. Apparently I'm in the minority!
Once again theme whoring is to blame here. "Foo Fighters makes no sense!"
"Holy shit FF is fuckign awesome put down an LE deposit !!1!"
"I don't see what they could do with the greatest mafia movies!!"
Never fuckign ends.
Quoted from Cruster:But based on an early 70’s movie? Just a bit too old school for me.
Enjoy your Twilight Zone!
Medieval Madness more update title for you? Classic Monsters of MB?
Over and over
Quoted from phoenixpin:I've had both POTC and GNR. I think they are both exceptional games and 10/10 designs. But when I think about why I sold both, the honest reason is the flipper feel was too off and pathetic compared to the high energy Stern feeling. I do hope JJP fixes this thing that bothers so many (but not all) of us.
Cant see any reason they would change it but we can dream. Going back and forth from DI & AIQ last night and its just painful
Quoted from Jaytech10:Combination or 1 of the following. Coil strength is too low and the leaf switches on the flipper is to far apart. Upper Coil strengths 2 notches and adjust the leaf switches closer.
Their games are not always designed that way as with DI upper flipper issues. Obviously they all need to be turned up but that doesn't always do it...can't get it "perfect like at the factory" like JJP claims
JJP uses an EOS?
Quoted from mrossman5:I'm curious to see if this is a Ritchie or Meunier game.
I thought it was no question Meunier...?
Quoted from yancy:They're neat, but I'm not sure I ever need the extra length, and they add a few pounds to an already backbreaking game setup.
Heavy=quality!
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Stern sheet metal head, no proper lockdown bar mech, and bolts to lock the head instead of a proper lock mech = cheap…yet prices have gone up like crazy.
I prefer all of those...but of course I am getting older
First day when I set up the machine is probably the second to last time I touch the head of a machine or care aboot it in any way
Decades of screwing in pointless head bolts...allen wrench lock is so much better.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:...but the reason they were made was to save money and generate more profit versus a benefit to the customer.
Yeah no shit.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:I think that’s an excuse from Stern...
Total lie by them no doubt.
Doesn't bother me terribly because I'm not 5'1 but I'd take it in the OG area fo sho.
Oh my God how are they going to make a pinball machine out of a movie?!?!?
Interested to see what they can do with a theme like this; could be awesome.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Me too.
Love the movie. Like millions of other people.
Bring on “the mechs!”
Weirldy the popularity & time frame probably has a ton of crossover with Jaws; which everyone thinks is a great idea.
Quoted from Dr-pin:Woz is cheerful, happy with lots of joyful tunes along the way, and also very important a clear path/progression and goal.
Wtf
Quoted from Wariodolby:I guess we’re all watching Godfather trilogy this weekend!
Only the weirdos!
Quoted from TheLaw:Only the weirdos!
Wow jeez apparently everyone loves Godfather III now?!
Quoted from rai:Hate that movie and I've seen it a bunch like when it came out as well as watching them as a trilogy and now they have a directors cut that is not any better. I'd be fine without any mention of GF3
I think its still the only movie I've ever walked out of.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:If you are gojng to watch a godfather 3, make sure it’s the new one.
Almost watchable actually. ...
Hey we never knowm, this could be like when GB came out and the peeps that loved GB2 Secret of the Ooze all slithered out of the darkness.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:... Factor in other items such as a mostly sheet metal head on Stern's, and no proper Williams style lockdown bar or head lock and it's easy to see which game has the higher build of materials cost.....
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Stern sheet metal head, no proper lockdown bar mech, and bolts to lock the head instead of a proper lock mech = cheap…yet prices have gone up like crazy.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:... has a head made out of wood versus sheet metal, a proper lockdown bar instead of Home Depot latches, an actual lock for the head instead of two 25 cent bolts...
Fresh
Quoted from Mattyk:Do you mean TMNT 2 Secret of the Ooze?
Oh yeah...all the ooze in GB2 confused me
Quoted from apinapple:This pinball shop here in the UK has announced 6 hours ago The Godfather 50th anniversary pinball...
Here is the link to the video

[quoted image]
Oh right...UK is 8 hours behind
Quoted from Roostking:... Gonna be so family friendly ha....
I thought we lost this angle with GNR?
Quoted from stubborngamer:I'll be honest, as much as I am confused by the theme choice, I'd much rather see what they could do with Godfather than Harry Potter.
Yeah because its not the same old shit.
Quoted from Sako-TRG:[quoted image]
2 ball MB indeed
Quoted from CrazyLevi:It has its charms.
But it is not.
It is DREADFULLLL. Even with the non theatrical ending.
Quoted from Sako-TRG:Theme comes last?
What a load of bollocks…
Quoted from Sako-TRG:Theme gets most excited, by rationale, don’t see how it can be last to anyone
I don't know why it's so hard grasping that other people have diff'ernt ideas ya muppet.
Quoted from Dr-pin:There are obviously opinions that differ. but you cant deny the fact that themes on upcoming games is one of the premiere things discussed?
That was never stated or 'denied.' No one is saying theme isn't a big deal to pinball buyers; of course it is and there are 100 threads a day on it.
Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:I find it hard to imagine toys & mechs for this and yet the underside looks packed!
One of the reasons we're not pinball designers.
Quoted from oneballjab:Yeah but I bet we could design the shit out of our own personal dream themes
Ha I don't!
in fact your "dream theme" is probably the last one you should be designing. We've all seen it a million times where people dream journals ruin everything.
Quoted from Straight2VHS:You cannot compare Stern’s highest level machine to JJP’s new lowest level machines.
He can and he will sir. And I hope you REALLY like sheet metal discussions!
Quoted from PalmettoPinworks:They made a 1930s mobster pin and slapped the Godfather name on it.
Which isn't a bad thing.
Got some GOT in there
Quoted from PiperPinball:“Is this your pen multiball?” Lol
See, you don't even know the movies
That's Crasino
Quoted from Pinstein:I thought jjp made family friendly games. Now the main toy is holding a machine gun?
GNR dude, wake up
Quoted from Beechwood:So, GF... anyone think the magnetic bling idea will be carried forward, or is this just a one off. Probably not a selling point for a location pin.
God I hope it dies a miserable death.
Its so bad...like the American Chopper of pinball looks.
But modders will sadly try to retrofit with Art Deco looks for Shadow, golden wings for JD etc etc
Quoted from ThePinballCo-op:...However, I'm sure I can get an LE 1-2 years down the road at 8-9k so why not wait?
Well that's the trick of the hobby isn't it?
A machine losing 4k worth of value is quite a lot; dont now if you can count on that one.
TS didn't lose that much and you heard a the childhood ruining
Quoted from gandamack:....and Vanilla Ice was just influenced by Queen's "under pressure".
Dundundundun dun dun....its not the same.
Quoted from ls1chris:and you never will, Moon is the king of JJP trolls...
Please let us all remembr odin was kicked out of multiple area of this website but Moon & Jim West are still allowed in JJP
Quoted from CrazyLevi:...
Took years before Lamberger finally got the boot after years of no value added!
Uff that's right
Quoted from dsmoke1986:I got a later GnR LE run and the playfield is perfect...No worries
Yeah I think they worked it out in later runs.
Sound needs work but the game could work for a W/B vibe like DI did.
Quoted from Aurich:Someone at JJP doesn't know the meaning of restraint...
Baby steps, I'm just happy there isn't an upper PF; not everything needs one.
EDIT: I'll also just hope the MBs are just coincidence in the clip, and not non stop.
Quoted from mtdouble:can the colors be changed?
I don't think JJP has offered that like Chicago Coin has. I mean it's horribly too much fo sho.
Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:That mech quote was attributed to me but I didn’t say it. Pinside glitch or whatever.....
Ahhh totally! I was trying to go back to that quote yesterday and it kept giving me the runaround....someone with a Crown
Quoted from squaresville:...the 70's disco night at the Sicilian roller rink was easily my favorite scene in...
Twilight zone?
Screenshot_20230308-162409_Firefox.jpgQuoted from dpadam450:... into epilepsy mode and I can barely see a ball due to blinded flashing.
I believe those can at least be tuned/toned down, at least j was told this for AFM & MB whihc are nauseous
Quoted from Aurich:... game where they hope the lightshows and music and sounds are "placeholders". .
Did you play 007? When I played on location is LITERALLY has text on the screen "placeholder image waiting for licenser approval" or some such thing
That was a new one for me.
Quoted from SLAMT1LT:Just so happens I'm the best in the biz at pinball code and audio design. If they make me an offer I can't refuse, maybe I can help them.
OK fair enough that you actually now how batshit crazy you are and are having fun. Phew.
Quoted from sevenrites:I think I have all of the same repetitive criticism....I couldn't resist making a damn bingo card.
[quoted image]
I mean you should really put "Weak Flippers" in the free middle spot.
Quoted from sevenrites:I didn’t feel like eliminating the star. Consider it a freebie...
Its a freebie because everyone agrees the flippers are weak.
You knowm how Bingo works right?
Quoted from sevenrites:Except there’s talk the flippers are improved for The Godfather.
Oh man thay would be great.
Looking forward to playing one ASAP.
Quoted from sevenrites:Several people who played it said that in one way or another now, even Karl D.
Nice. My brother is in a league with him but I guess the GF is at the other location.
The Scooby Doo apparently broke right away and was pulled
