So tempted to buy one of those round tables with trash bag in the middle,
We do not have any Academy sporting goods around here though,
otherwise have to pay for shipping.

That looks amazing. What the greens? Large brussel sprouts maybe?
Quoted from EJS:[quoted image][quoted image]
Since the photo is with reed style plants, and the bulrushes, that might be a female Red Wing Black Bird.
Quoted from punkin:A magpie just came to my door
Crows must make fun of Magpies, all the time. Since the Magpie can not yell as loud as Crow even though the Magpie is around the same size of a Crow. Magpies can mimic sounds, and can be trained to mimic speech.

Magpies are heaps smaller than Crows here. maybe half the size.
In between there's the Currawong, 3/4 crow size, but a beautiful song.
Magpie song is a lovely warble, not up to currawong, but better than the crows Fuuucck riggghhhttt offffff.
Get currawongs here all the time, they come after the grapes, i have security footage of them in my shed sitting on the ape hangers of my Harley.
Hell, those photo's are in this thread if you search.
I planted this golden loquat tree in my front lawn. Probably grow 20 feet plus. Japanese plum type. Apricot, plum and maybe mango tasting. They are really good for a day or 2 which is probably why you don't see them commercially grown. They taste of too much citrus before that 2 day period of being an incredible tasting small piece of fruit.

Trying something new for comp today.
Pairs event.
We are going to mix it up a bit, i think i'll have to go to paper scoring as i can't figure out how to get the pairs working properly on matchplay.
I tried a trial head to head comp but it didn't seem to score properly.
Putting some sneaky challenges in there.
Now heading home after a 4 hour detour to free gold watch.

JDRF had their annual one walk fundraiser this past weekend that we’ve always been involved in and he also had a baseball tournament. He chose baseball but all his teammates were totally up for supporting! Because of what he goes through every single day, Gordon is truly my hero!

Quoted from DCP:Not much happens in Piedmont WV, but we do get a lot of cool clouds, and I never get tired of seeing them. [quoted image][quoted image]
I see Abraham Lincoln tipping his top hat. Clouds are cool!
My prickly pear cactus started to bloom yesterday.
I walked the perimeter of my house spraying for ants on Wed. and stumbled onto this little guy. It was very small and only about the size of an house cat!
It won’t be long until it’s part of the small herd that eat anything in my yard that I don’t spray with deer/rabbit repellant.

These used to grow in my childhood neighborhood, I absolutely loved them…wish they would grow where I live now!
Woo Woo! All aboard!
Took a short ride on on the Nickel Plate 765 today. I use to see it setting in a local park in the 60s'/70's. It was eventually moved to be cleaned up and put in a museum. Thankfully, the team decided to restore to operating condition.

I’ve been playing a lot of piano lately. I was gonna buy a used Yamaha, but after trying a Baldwin at a store I quickly decided that was the way to go. I didn’t have $4000, so I found a good looking one on FB Marketplace for $625, and talked them down to $500. With the move, a tuning, some repair work, and then a second tuning because, “It’s never been serviced,” according to my tuner, I paid $1350. Plays and sounds great!
