Taiwanese fishing fleet - they use massive arrays of LED lights to attract fish and squid. Absolutely insane to see literally in the middle of nowhere. This was just one small group out of probably 6 that we saw.

I saw a documentary about the Humboldt squid and the way they catch them that way. It is literally a massacre. I will try to find it.
Could not find it. It was a documentary on the intelligence of the Humboldt, which showed them using that method to catch them.
It was showing their intelligence by several methods including pulsating colors that may signify communication.
And then the locals begin their slaughter.
I’m not trying to make any point. It was chilling.

I found it funny, that despite it being a non-electrical component, even the couplings for these fire pumps have to be UL listed.

I had hoped the mantis was just sleeping but sadly no.
It makes me sad to see such a beautiful thing die and not be be able to do a damn thing about it. But it is the circle of life. Isn’t it.
I tried to make it comfortable.
