Here's a view of the path I have to clear in order to get games from the walkout basement door up to the service door in the back of the garage.
Sometimes I get drifts.

What brand and model of snowblower do you own? I ask because I am looking at purchasing one when they go on sale this year. Looking for recommendations.
There's a million snow blowers to choose from. I bought a smaller Ariens only because it fits through the garage service door. I should have something larger for my 70' driveway but I get by.
Over the last couple of weeks, my wife and I have noticed a few trails through our backyard. We thought maybe it was kids cutting through the yard.
This morning we found out it was not.
Not sure why they're going back and forth, but we counted 18 of them!

Gotta be Vegas.
On the way from Farmington MN to Spooky Pinball in Benton WI, you will run into this about 30 minutes out. No idea what town it is. It's out in the country though. We only got a pic of the front but both sides are as bad. Charlie told us he's painted it over and then added new wording a time or two but it's always been like this when we've gone by.

Reminds me of the old joke....it's so flat, I watched the dog run away for two days.
Having my driveway redone by my brother and 4 friends. None of the guys are younger than 60.
My brother and 4 other friends did the original driveway 27 years ago.
14 yards the first day and 16 yards the second.

Mine is too, but I've been watering the shit out of it.

Land is so flat I watched the dog run away for two days.
Quoted from bssbllr:A picture from a local hospital where I have been for the past week. I’m getting out today but things are not better then when I came in, only worse. The liver doesn’t seem to want to do it’s job and there is nothing more then can do but hope it wakes up. #grahamstrong #cancersucks.

That just flat out sucks, man! Here's wishing you the best.
I have a 3 year old grandson who needed some work done on his bladder about three months ago. It was 3 months ago yesterday that I had my cancerous prostate removed. The Donald Duck doll is something they gave him at the hospital, so most everything they were going to do to him, they did to Donald first. Of course my wife had to get me a Donald and Hayes and I shared "city" (that's where he goes when he goes to the hospital) stories before and after our surgeries. I saw him a couple weeks ago and we were comparing war wounds.
BTW, the pics are just a couple I've sent to Hayes from my hospital and clinic visits. Donald would go everywhere with us.
Another BTW, the little shit only had to have his catheder for 24 hours. I had to have mine for 10 fucking days!

Seriously: glad you're both doing better.
Hayes is doing fine. No issues 3 months later. It just kills me to see a little kid like him having to go through what he did.
I have my first follow up appointment in 3 weeks to see if there is any PSA left in my body. Fingers are crossed.
IMG_4492 (resized).jpegMy grandson had his year end baseball tournament this weekend. Right after his last game ended yesterday, we all heard someone screaming for help. About 20 feet away an old guy had collapsed. Within seconds, there had to be 8 people around him. My son is a firman, his new wife is an er nurse and his ex wife is also a nurse. I couldn’t be more proud of how fast they moved. Without any hesitation whatsoever they were on this guy. Thankfully a St. Paul police officer was there and was the first to start resuscitation. He came back after about 30 seconds.
Found out today, he’s doing well although he has a few cracked ribs. I was surprised at that but my son said if you don’t crack a rib or two during resuscitation, you aren’t doing it well enough. The cop knew what the f’ he was doing!
The two boys in blue are his grandsons. My heart just broke for them as they watched everyone work on their grandfather.
Thank God there are nurses, doctors, first responders and others around us willing to help at the drop of a hat.

We had no issues pulling into a Kwik Trip for gas. Leaving the Kwik Trip, we heard this click click click noice. Turned out being about a one foot long piece of threaded rod about the diameter of rebar. No idea where it came from or how the hell it punctured the tire.
Thankfully, the Walmart Tire Center was only a half mile away. Joseph was a great guy and super helpful. Said he had never seen anything quite like it.

Calling it corn on the cob never made sense to me.
Call it what you will, there's nothing like having this for a meal in the middle of January or February. Beats anything you can buy at the store.
Quoted from LTG:Farmers tend to plant their sweet corn where people driving by don't know where it is.
LTG : )
Not really. My brother in law grows his for Green Giant. He's got hundreds of acres. There's no hiding that much.
Quoted from GrahamStrong93:My dad bssbllr passed away last week, a long tough battle with cancer most of you had saw in his posts… he fought till the very end. Been a tough week even tougher to get on here and post or read posts, but it’s actually made me happy, reading the things he wrote… I hope you all enjoyed his posts. He appreciated you guys on here and made his retirement, even though it was early and because of the sickness, much more enjoyable. I appreciate the friends he made on here and thankful he could help or talk to you guys. #GrahamStrong forever. I’m glad I could enjoy this site now the same way he had! And I’ll keep playing his pinball game, though he’ll forever have the high score!
[quoted image]
Needless to say, I never met your dad but reading his post here, he came across as a down to earth, cool guy.
I would have been proud to call him my father.
My grandson had a door slam on his finger in school last week. It not only smashed the tip but it cut and ripped the top half of his finger nail off. The doctors had to remove the rest of the nail and ended up with four stitches underneath. They then placed the remaining part of the nail back in place and crossed their fingers.
Hopefully, it grows back. I told him if it didn't, I was going to call him finger for the rest of his life!

Dirk, I tried, but I can't figure it out. What's funny about that pic?</blockquote

[quoted image][quoted image]
I've been there. My wife wanted to take the grandkids to the zoo to look at pumpkins. Asked if I wanted to go with.
I said no but got talked into it.
It was INSANE!!
And every single one is hand carved.
