It might be a good lesson for all of us to write down the model and serial numbers of our games. The cops cannot enter stolen property into the LEIN system without it. And if they recover it they do not know who to return it to without the model and serial number being in the system (unless things changed since I retired).

I will write down all of mine tonight. And my rifles too now that I think of it....some are 30 years old so no receipts from original purchase etc. Who knows....if you lose a game you might get it back in 20 years in better shape than when it got ripped off!

Great news! But still...its too bad the thief did'nt get butt knived and shin slammed. That was pretty funny. Especially the part where they waited 15 minutes to call the cops.
