Hey all, what degree pitch is your game set at? The manual says it’s 6 degrees with the leg bolts all the way in, I’m just not sure if that’s the recommended pitch. Thanks!
Quoted from Ferret:6 degrees pitch is what’s recommended by the designer, yes.
Thanks ferret! Other owners are you going steeper than 6? The guy I bought it from had it a 7 degrees.
Quoted from Ferret:X number of ducks collected, X number of steins collected, X number of tents played... these are all adjustable via Settings > Oktoberfest.
EB lit is also available as a Mystery award.
I changed my high score awards to extra balls, so now I’m really getting those ducks!
Question for the American pinball folks. Is the “choose wisely” voice for that quote when choosing the Stein the same podcaster guy that did some voice work for Rick and Morty? Sure sounds like it.
Quoted from E_Gpinball:I never had a ball "valley" in that ramp area before, I just don't like how there is potential for it to valley there.
My oktoberfest is an early machine, so it is possible that there were subtle changes made since then.
(ie: the upper flipper coil stop was one of the subtle changes made, they sent me the part at no cost, and all new machines had that installed at the factory since then.)
Mine was built 12/2020 and I’ve had the ball in the valley issue. I haven’t since I put cover on the ramp, though.
Question, are there any six ball multi balls in Oktoberfest? Juggling maybe with enough add a balls?
Quoted from t500:Definitely sounds like some bad membrane switches. The Lock Switch Compensation setting has resolved this issue for me even without changing out the bad switch.
"If you have the latest code, try turning on Settings > Oktoberfest > Lock Switch Compensation. Exit the service menu, THEN POWER CYCLE THE GAME."Definitely sounds like some bad membrane switches. Emptying the locks every game seems to help too.
