The funny part is that it looks much better in those pictures! It had all white LED's before!

Holy moly. That must be a custom playfield or is the original really that fluorescent? I feel like more parties are culpable than just the stadium lighting. That being said, this would fit perfectly in a location with laser tag, cosmic bowling, and carpeted fluorescent walls.

I think the GI is all white, its just the glow rubbers reacting with the UV that make it seem green. Honestly this could be cool if done correctly (aka with restraint)

Bally pins of that era used UV ink on both the playfield and the cabinet. Another good example is EATPM. Looks pretty sick when there is blacklighting in the arcade, but it definitely can be overdone when using pinstadiums or UV GI.

This is with shitty CT leds under the inserts and in a few spots in the GI. Game is filthy and hasn't been shopped yet...but the unpuked is so much brighter.

More ridiculous glue on / bolt on junk, absolutely silly to throw random garbage on a pin, that doesn't make it better. Some of these mods are really goofy, the huge intricate shooter knobs that you can't even grab properly with your hand are the worse, but i also hate the random toys bought and glued under the glass.

I thought about this while fixing my gz, then the more I looked at it, its full of crappy plastic toys to begin with. In fact, the OEM plastic crap is even crappier than after market. Take 6 steps back, the whole thing is just one giant crappy toy of wood, plastic, metal and glass. Pinball is still fun, but its really 10-20% plastic crap.
So, if someone wants to mod, to each his own.

Twilight Zone I recently picked up. Not the worst rainbow puke I’ve seen but the 1 smd clear dome blue and purple leds in the gi make an already dark game even darker. I don’t totally hate it but I don’t like the way the plastics get washed out in color. The backbox isn’t as bad in person, the light strip on the door color cycles. I will probably de-puke it at some point cause I’m also finding random incandescent bulbs that never got changed out.

I put in the Color DMD, LED version. I like the look of the LED version over LCD and it's vertical footprint is smaller to make room for the jackpot light mod at the bottom of it.
