Ironically I joined "the club" three days ago.

I'm enjoying it a lot. Great Nordman design, which often means lots of ramps, with great flow. I'm actually forcing myself to play with the handles, which I like, because the handles make it easier to nudge the pin.

My PF is in excellent condition. If I continue to enjoy this as much as I am, I might spruce it up a bit more by having the handles re-plated etc.

I only wish that Sandra Bullock looked as good on the translight as she does in the picture that you posted!

Quoted from Rascal_H:

My affection for the gameplay has made me appreciate the theme/artwork... For all it's awfulness. I kinda like it now.

Don't think the artwork (at least on the translite) will ever appeal to me, but I do like the music and sounds.

I hit the Super Jackpot 3 times earlier tonight during Cryo Prison Multiball.

Quoted from HOOKED:

Key on DM for me is strong flippers. I put on the stronger orange wrapper coils from PBL.
These are the same one people put on STTNG.

I'm struggling with weak flippers on mine even after putting new sleeves in the coils. Can you tell me what the exact part number is? Are other people doing this on their DM?

Quoted from darkmiss:

If it comes back from the left ramp, use the upper flipper to save it.

That doesn't work. If the ball is close enough to the left that it will hit the upper flipper, it probably isn't going SDTM. The ones that go SDTM can't be hit with the upper flipper as the ball comes back down the left ramp.

Still loving my DM more than a week later. Yes, it's still early and I'm in the honeymoon phase, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it still. This one may be here for a bit.

Chalk-up another member to the club, here. Got mine a couple months ago and have really been enjoying it. Even posted a nutty-high score on Thanksgiving evening. 9 BILLION(!??!) I could scarcely believe it either.

I was coming after you, but fell a bit short.

Thanks guys. It was a pretty epic game. I got to Demolition Time twice! Got plenty of super jackpots during the multi-balls, including four of them during Wasteland MB. I also got the Demolition Jackpot.

I'm learning the key to the big scores on this pin is to keep hitting those combos and work the multiplier to 5x. Adding the extra balls obviously helps a ton. I had more than 110 combos, and when you add 5x to that at the end of the game, it really adds up. My Bonus alone on my last two balls were over 1 billion.

Quoted from absocountry2:

Nice score! I am happy to get to 3 billion. If I turn the pin on I have been getting 1 billion pretty regular. The more I focus on it the better I have been getting. I need to focus on that multiplier more. Usually just get 2X.

Well it's not like I am scoring 8 billion or 12 billion regularly, and I too am happy when I hit the 3 billion mark.

Definitely try to concentrate on the bonus multiplier. There are a lot of reasons to do so, including lighting the extra ball when you get to 5x.

Also make sure that you are playing with the handles. You lose a lot of bonus points if you don't, and they can really add up by the end of the game.

I used to put my pins on 5 balls when I first got them to help me learn the table faster. I don't do that anymore as I actually think that it is counter productive.

Quoted from absocountry2:

How many balls? I think I am stuck around 2.8 billion on three ball.

As I said earlier in the thread, it's on 3 ball setting, but I got a bunch of extra balls!

I will say it again: work those multipliers!! This leads to HUGE bonuses *and* extra balls.

DM problem:
I love my DM however lately in almost every game the multiball/extra ball shot does not trigger multiball or extraball,I guess becuase soe switch is not being triggered...anyone else have this problem?

The ball has to actually go inside the scoop that is in the upper part of the PF (to the left of the rollovers). It doesn't always make it even if you hit the left loop.

DM played a huge roll in the PAPA finals yesterday! The eventual winner of the tournament put up a huge score of over 6 billion points! That's in tournament play with PAPA set up!
