Quoted from jrpinball:Gonna fire this one up tonight.

How was it? I think I’ve got 1 of these in the tupperdor

Very enjoyable. It burned a little wonky, but it may have been due to the high humidity last night.
Quoted from chubtoad13:I had both of these this weekend. The Hoyo de Monterrey was great. Alec Bradley, not so much.

I'm batting .500 with Alec Bradley.
I have a cigar smoking friend who doesn't have anything good to say about AB, and I had one which wasn't anything to write home about, but one which was quite good. You might have to go back a few pages to find my posts on them.
Quoted from PlanetExpress:Punch RE 898 paired with a tequila and grapefruit soda (great use for the cheap bottle of overly sweet Kirkland anejo we’ve had sitting around for years). [quoted image]
That looks yummy!
Esteban Carreras “Mr Brownstone” Maduro.
Wow! I wasn’t expecting much here, but wow. Complex flavor, but consistent and smooth. There’s nothing harsh to it. Easy to draw. Doesn’t leave a fowl, almost sour taste in my mouth like some “maduros” do. I say this because some are chemical Maduro rather than process Maduro. I think this cigar was less than $9? I may buy a box and add it to my regular rotation.

Gotta try one! Thanks!
Quoted from spfxted:All good!

I haven’t tried mine yet I have a few from the sample packs I have gotten.
I’m going to save their green hornets for next year for whatever reason they taste better when it’s hot and humid out.
Quoted from TheBrewhouse:Had this tonight for the first time. Pretty amazing.

I haven't had a Boddington's in ages!
Quoted from jrpinball:No name, no band. Hand rolled at a shop in St. Augustine, Florida.
My wife's brother-in-law got me a bunch while down there. Supposedly Nicaraguan tobacco.
I'll give it a try.

Not bad, but nothing special either.
Quoted from spfxted:....just a Chuckle Break....

I remember hearing that…I’ll be goddamned if they weren’t dead ass wrong! Stupid Apple. Stupid iPhone.
Quoted from Kderrick:Had a Punch Royal on the beach in Florida yesterday, not bad for a liquor store pickup.

Looks like a perfect spot for a cigar. That sand looks amazing.
For those that smoke inside, do you have a filtration system or just let it ride? I’ve always wanted to smoke inside but have never had a smoking a room. Are these dedicated rooms or does your whole house smell like cigars?

All the pictures I post from inside are at my friends house. I light up in the main living room. The next morning you can smell a faint aroma, the next few days almost like it never happened. I’m one who’s sensitive to smell and can easily pick things up (one reason I like cigars). I tried one of those ozone purification machines and that immediately destroys the evidence but it will smell a little like ozone too for a bit. No special filtration system.
If you leave your butts laying around that’s what will get you in terms of smell the next day.
I smoke in my garage and very carefree about the above and will leave butts laying around and will usually have a smell for a few days. In the winter I keep the doors closed and crack for some fresh air every now and again. The smell does go away eventually.
How often are you wanting to do this?
First time try something easy like a Macanudo or Fuente or Davidoff

I had a room built for my Cigar Club. Mini Split for air/heat and 2 extractor fans. Best $20K I ever spent!
Here’s one alongside a previous run (seventh Sam) I traded with PlanetExpress awhile back. Not sure when I’ll have that one.

Next Tat Monster release should be out soon.
Today only, Small Batch has 45% off any cigars by Hamlet today with code “HAMLETS” (have to login first, before the code works). I went with boxes of 25th anniversary robustos and Liberation robustos, which came in at $5 a stick. Pretty good cigars at that price point.
