Too cold to smoke outside, but I’m braving it to test the new firepit

Some Merino long underwear and a heavy pour of cask strength Laphroaig should help….

Little "video mode" for you guys. Figured I'd mix it up a bit.

Aren't they now called the Commandants, Commendatori, Commodes, or Commentators, or something like that?

To me they will always be the Redskins....and the Cleveland Indians, and Aunt Jemima, and Uncle Bens......and Eskimo Pies....

I forgot about Eskimo Pie having to change. What’s wild is Eskimo Joe’s in Stillwater, OK didn’t. It’s still one of the most recognizable shirts in the world.

I'd like to know if sales of these products has been affected either way by the name changes. I won't buy the pancake mix anymore, and I do love pancakes.

I try to avoid anything and everything that goes woke out of principle.

Found this outstanding cigar lounge in Little Rock, AK.

I think you meant AR, not AK (that would be Alaska).
There's a couple of Cigar Republic locations not far from me, and one in PA. Not sure if they're affiliated with the one in Arkansas or not.

Nothing like a little lunch, tequila and a good cigar!

Getting ready to replace flipper assemblies on Knock Out. Also sanding rails in the background for two cabinets.

For now, smoke break!

This is one that came as a bonus once upon a time. I think I’m going to circle around to some of the one offs I have and whatever I like grab a couple 5 packs. This will be one of them. No AJ but still good!

Bought myself a massive Christmas present and got 2 Davidoff Year of the Rabbits. Cashed in my rewards points and got them down to $43/ea shipped. My Chinese zodiac is the rabbit so I kinda felt like I had to.
I do a 50 mile 1 way drive every day and the only Chattanooga tobacconist is not far from me, a coworker on the other side of town, asked me to stop and buy him 2 from there and it was $116 for 2 after tax.
My plan is to have 1 on Christmas or New Years and save the 2nd for a big promotion or something.

Last night. Half on the way down and half on the way back. Got to see a pinhead I haven’t seen in awhile and play some JJP POTC so that was fun too!

Not much down time today. Getting a lot done on pins this evening…. Here’s a good 45 minute stick. Maybe longer, wasn’t paying close attention.

Happy thanksgiving in advance!

I think I have one of those. I’m told, yes it’s mild, but also strong. I made my own sampler from a shop that has a lot of Plascencia in stock.

Fox had some Forbidden X 4 packs listed this morning. I watched them sell out in 40 minutes. I was tempted but I have enough Opux X at the moment. They still have some pink Hemingway listed I might grab later if they are still available.

I was in the mood for one of these tonight and did it hit the spot!

Punch 898. Glad to see Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel back on the shelf, as it’s my favorite of the Turkey lineup.

Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel back on the shelf,

Jealous. Down here that's highly allocated. I'll look for some of that when I head to Kentucky for Christmas. I always go bourbon hunting when back in KY to visit family.

If your travels in KY take you near a Costco, stop in to see what they have (KY law forbids membership requirements for liquor sales, so don’t worry if you’re not a member). Many times there is nothing of interest, other than a great price on Old Forester BIB, but every once in awhile they will have something really awesome at a crazy price. A few years ago, they had one of the best Russel’s Reserve barrel strength store picks I’ve ever tasted, and were selling them for just a few bucks more than the standard 10yr price.

Trying a fat bottom Betty that someone recommend to me.

Never taking that guys advice again. Way to sweet on the draw. Was not expecting that at all from a non flavored cigar.

I believe that is a flavored cigar….technically speaking.

Some places have their own humi just for flavored cigars and I have seen those in there along with the Acid and Drew Estate Java line. Some Macanudo are too.

Either way, really caught me off guard. Reminds me more of pipe tobacco too.

Your friend (“someone”) probably just has different tastes than you do. Probably different tastes than most of us.

Ironically Acid and Baccarat are some of the top selling cigars. Baccarat is just sweetened but not flavored so I think they can get away without the label.

I need to start thinking about what I'm having tonight...if anything.

he knew I liked maduro wrappers, so his heart was at least in the right place making the recommendation.

Having a diamond crown julius caesar now, highly recommend. This and the game room thread are about the only pinside threads I can tolerate anymore, too much bickering about stupid crap in the other threads. Thanks everyone for keeping this one upbeat.

Welcome, glad to have you join the thread, it is always positive here; Cuban, NC, nobody cares (just don’t cut 1/2” off… lol). If you want more positive threads, branch out into EMs and pre-wars. I think in the pre-war we’re just happy anyone is interested in preserving these little old games.

On the other end of the spectrum, there is the EV thread… I’m surprised I’ve posted there and still have 99% positive score.
