Avatar - no future updates plannedAt least make it known what is going on, no need to detail it all.
I agree in that the biggest drawback to this entire issue is the communications aspect of the problem. Providing the customer base with a status update on code development will not only satisfy the need for information, but will also serve to stop rumors and expectations that will not be realized.
