Bally, 1993I'll be getting my TZ pin in a couple of weeks. I've been watching some old TZ episodes as I was pretty young when those were out and most of my memory of the TV show is pretty vague. I've really been enjoying watching them...what a great show!
Anyhow, I am curious to know what episodes that the pin took some of its cues from. I thought it would be great to watch those shows so to better appreciate the theme integration of the pin.

I am sure someone can be more specific - but I have been watching season one on Netflix recently and a lot of the cues come from early episodes (Mr. Death (guy on the backglass and middle of the playfield), The hitchiker, the slot machine, the swirl (if that comes from the episode where the guy's dream kills him - he is at the fair and playing a game where he is trying to shoot the center of the swirl).
I am sure there is more than I am missing .. but if you watch the first 15 episodes or so, a lot of the game will start to make sense.

I don't think there are any actual sound bytes from the show in the game. Talky Tina is reproduced to say, "Here's your extra ball," but no phrases from the shows are used.

I posted earlier that there were no direct audio from the shows, but I was wondering about this shot. I just played the game now that I got home, and sure enough, that's what he says.
Man...I just got my TZ 4 days ago. Can't wait to hear it...

One of my favorite things about TZ's sounds is all the other Lawlor games it has sounds and music from as well.
I'm at my happiest when I hear the sound of the four-way combo award! (Same for my TAF, too!)
