Primus is up for best animations & display. Great protest vote for EM & early SS purists.

Great job by everyone involved. Had a blast streaming this live with a pinball friend. Can't recall being this invested in an awards show since I watched Metallica lose a metal grammy to Jethro Tull.
Prerecorded nominee videos are easily the best part of the production. Award show lady voiceover and everything! One small bit of constructive criticism regarding those, some were way too long. No need for a clip montage of every streamer or podcaster in (what I consider to be) minor categories, while Game of the Year gets a simple reading of the titles.
Chris, you did fine! It might have been harder to follow the action on stream since the stomping was off camera, but anyone paying full attention knew exactly what was going on (or at least I did). Thanks for livening up the festivities.
Quoted from wolftownjeff:I had no idea what was going on still don't.
If only Franchi would come into this thread and post a detailed explanation.
Quoted from wolftownjeff:Just went down the line getting autographs. Yep, I wanted all of the autographs. Anything wrong with that friend?
It's just kind of weird to want an autograph from a person you don't know who he is or what he does. Kind of a poor man's version of our modern celebrity obsessed culture. "He's famous! For what? Who cares!"
But hey, you do you.
Quoted from Matesamo:Na, that is actually pretty normal when there are a bunch of people in a row signing things and the line is moving along stopping at each one.
Autographs, buffet style. All you can eat! You're right, that's sadly normal. Guess I'm not much of an autograph guy.
Quoted from Fytr:I feel that ACNC should have done better in the artwork category,
Agree, and I think it deserved more than 9.4% in the theme category.
I'm not sure the pure theme category is even necessary though. If we're going to award a company for just having a license, shouldn't Jody Dankberg or whoever come up to accept it? I care a lot more about what you DO with the theme, and there's already a category for that. Theme integration is where the designer comes in.
Suggestion for the write-in categories: winners are ineligible next year (or maybe next two years). Being a Chicago homer I of course support Dead Flip and Logan Arcade, but it's not fun if the same things could potentially win every year. Pinburgh seems like a lock to win its category for... ever. I love Pinburgh and voted for it, but I feel the awards are better if they can spread the love to a variety of deserving entities.
