Last year was my first Pinfest...I'll definitely be back for this year's show. Looking forward to it.

I get why people don't want to bring a game that isn't pre-sold. What I don't get is why people are apparently willing to commit to buying games sight unseen.
...my .02.
Quoted from ninjabones:For those new to these shows, what do you do if interested in buying a pin, but you're only going to be there on Friday. Is the seller obliged to keep the pin on the floor for the entire event, or can the pin be released if a buyer wants to take it home?
There is a fee to remove a game early. You just have to decide who will pay it...
Sorry for the complete noob question (I am what I am...), but...
I see a number of terms used in the thread (project, players, etc) that I assume from the context are used to describe the machine's condition. Could someone please briefly expound on the terms a little bit and give some detail as to what differentiates one from the other?
Many thanks.
Great show...Kudos and THANKS to Ivan and his whole staff!
This was my second show, and like last year I just came up for Friday...but, man, I really wanted to stay for Saturday. Maybe next year.
Good stuff all around in all areas. Flea Market was full of interesting stuff, vendors were outstanding, and there were some really fantastic games to be found in the free play area. (And don't get me started on the Farmer's Market....yum).
I wonder if we can't get a couple spaces in the back corner for next year and set up a Pinsiders only lounge area. We could have refreshments available, a place to sit and relax, and even as a meet-and-greet area for Pinsiders. Just a thought....
