The process and getting to watch it all play out, input, etc. is worth at least 5k of the cost to me!
Doesn't matter how long, the ONLY potential issue will be the coding and gotta believe Jpop wants to make it great.... 
If I was forced to choose only one pin for my collection, this would be it and its a long ways out, in the meantime, I can always make my own pinball game on my wood floors and create my own ramps, course etc. using existing pinballs and a hockey stick!......
