The Mantis protectors fit on MMR. The Merlin hole protector will take the most effort due to its custom shape.
I removed the basement door and strapped the game, without box, to an appliance dolly. Obviously it is important to pad areas where straps touch the game in order to avoid wear marks. It's also important to protect the top step from marring by the dolly. After that, it was two people, one step at a time.
Quoted from DuckBrian:If it is serial number 0854, it should be an LE. You'll know when you open it if there is a serial plaque on the apron
Well said!
Quoted from Manic:This issue was not "made bigger"... and there are a lot of your fellow customers that are now stuck with the irregular PF's that DON'T think they are stunning and will be worth less when they sell.
So if you got a good one... great. Thank the people that complained as they sent out the bad product and enabled you to get a good one.
I really have to agree with this post. I am fortunate to say my MMR is perfect and without the light ink problem. However, I will never understood CGC's handling of this issue. How much money was spent designing a defuser and the accompanying instruction set? How much customer good will was blown when incessant complaints were required to get a kit, which by the way the customer was then required to purchase?
Again, I am very happy and thankful for my MMR, I just wish the playfield issue was handled differently.
