Quoted from Shapeshifter:QC on downward trend but why do Stern care when they see people paying 10k for a GBLE ?
Exactly, as long as people pay the rediculous prices Stern is asking, then they will just continue to bend us over and laugh.

This is just un-acceptable IMO. You paid like $6500 and you would expect a flawless machine. You would have been better off getting a older SM and saving a few bucks. I played SMVE at the RMPS yesterday and it was nothing special. Didn't play any better than the original other than smoother doc oc shots. Seeing the damage you describe above, the weak ass ultimate SM art, and the mediocre call outs, I'm glad I passed on it.
I have a GOT that has some inserts ghosting too but I honestly do not notice it at all when I'm playing. I understand it is a cosmetic issue and it should not be happening but what's with all the fuss? How can this be fixed by Stern? Just play your games and have fun, once they figure it out hopefully Stern will correct it for all of us.
Wow, I feel bad for people who are spending big time cash for games and having issues. I've bought 3 NIB games, 2 of which had issues, but I talked with Stern first and they have always stepped up and fixed my issues in coordination with my distributor. Hopefully they do the same for all of those affected and more importantly I hope Stern can figure out what's going on. It sure does suck getting a new game though and having issues. Me, I'm out of room and money for pinball machines so I won't be buying anything new for a while. Once my line up gets stale, if Stern wants my money they better step up their quality. Good luck to both sides.
Is that really a big deal? My GOT has some ghosting inserts and it does not effect game play at all. If I had been following the ghosting thread, I probably qualify to have my playfield replaced but I don't think the ghosting is getting any worse.
I think this whole ghosting of inserts thing is out of control. I have several inserts on my GOT that have a sliver of ghosting. The game plays fine. The inserts are not lifting or getting worse at all. Shit, if you all didn't mention it, I wouldn't have even noticed them. If and when I try to sell my game and the interested party tries to low ball me because of the ghosting inserts, I'll tell them to go elsewhere. It doesn't effect gameplay at all. I've seen some pretty tasteless mods that look way worse than a few ghosted inserts.
