Ok, I think I'm at the point with this project that I can feel good about posting some pics. I have been working on this game for nearly a year. There's still some work to do on the plastics and the sound package. I can't answer too many questions about the game yet, but I wanted to give a sneak peek...

+ 1 on that, it is a rethemed Bally Flash Gordon, great playing game in its original form, with ghostbusters theme and sound package I'm sure it's nothing short of amazing. Really great work the playfield art is stunning, make sure there is a translucent green slimmer plastic in there somewhere

Btw where is the video of it running in attract playing the ghostbusters theme

#11 12 years ago

Wow looks better than flash gordon!

#12 12 years ago

Yes, it was a Flash Gordon. I plan to do a video in the near future and I will, of course, post it here first. Thanks for all the comments, you've already made it all worth while. Many people should also get a chance to play this game, it won't stay buried in my basement.

#13 12 years ago

Bad ass that is amazing!! Thanks for sharing the pics with us. Put a smile on my face and now I can't get the song out of my head.

#14 12 years ago

#15 12 years ago

I'm normally against re-themes (killing off an original), but with 10,000 made, and the playfield being notorious for wear and bad paint, I can't say I'm too sad to see it put to good use. I'm dying to know if you managed to finagle a way to change the sounds through a separate board? Also how the heck did you keep this a secret for an entire year?

#18 12 years ago

Looks great!!!! I want it!!

#19 12 years ago

Looks cool. I want one

#20 12 years ago

Nice job Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse!
I was always amazed that they (B/W) never got around to making a Ghostbusters machine.

Next time around...
Do an Ecto-1 cabinet!

#21 12 years ago

Fantastic job, Betelgeuse!

#22 12 years ago

Great job, looks awesome and very professional.

#23 12 years ago

Nice work!!!!! Better art work than 90% of Stern machines

#24 12 years ago

Wow, just wow. Really nice work, great theme. Love the backglass. How much

#25 12 years ago

I just got into Flash Gordon recently, good playfield to redo a theme over (I thought it'd make a good StarWars format).

#26 12 years ago

Very cool! One of the best re-themes I've seen!

#27 12 years ago

Wow! That looks great. I'd love to see some sort of marshmallow man toy in there.

#28 12 years ago

Great theme..im blown away!

#29 12 years ago

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bravo Sir!

#30 12 years ago

I'm surprised myself that I was able to keep a secret for so long. As for the sound, all I can say is it is already off the hook and will be even better by the time I'm done.

#31 12 years ago

Fricking sweet, nice work

#32 12 years ago

Man now I want my old beat up flash gordon back.

Relocate the strobe light to the mouth of the ghost so it really blinds you while you play

Very nice work so far do you have youtube video of it playing?

Have you or are you going to make different sound? Flash ahaaaaa

#33 12 years ago

Oh and when finished if selling it dibs.

#34 12 years ago

Absolutely astounding and inspirational work!!!!! How you goiung to attack the sounds??? I want to re-theme a pin too, and would love to know how you're going to get round changing the sounds (assuming you're planning to do that)?
