Beautiful GC IV. I would love to have one just like that, but I can't find any close to me. One thing I really like about the GC IV's and V's compared to the earlier models is the flush mounted pockets.

So now I have a new dilemma, input appreciated.
We're moving. The good news is there's enough room for my pinball machines. The bad news is that there may not be enough room for pinball machines AND a 9' pool table. I may be able to make them everything fit, but would likely mean losing space for a TV/gaming area (something I'm not willing to do). So, I'm left with a few options.
- A smaller table, but I won't go smaller than 8'
- A bumper pool table... I've never actually played, but it seems like it may be something to scratch an itch
- Axe some pinball machines...
I think it will be tough to really know what kind of space I (and how cramped it feels) until have until I get in there and get machines setup.
Quoted from gweempose:I'm a big fan of the GC 1 as well. I think they are beautiful with classic retro lines. There is one I am considering that is a bit more than I want to spend. It was restored about a year ago to the original blue color. Here's a couple photos of it ...
The blue color is my favorite out of the GC 1. Looks nice.
I recently cancelled my MBRLE and Nitro refunded my deposit! I am now waiting on a Diamond Pro Am 8' pool table, I am really excited, I just couldn't keep waiting for a Pin I can purchase in the future.
Miss my pool table terribly! Grew up with nearly unlimited space and we had one, loved it. Now I do not have as much space, not sure if I can ever get one in. Like too though.
1964 GCI. Found someone who had a bunch in storage from buying out a billiard business and his partner was refinishing them. Included new cut rails and fresh bumpers, legs and body were sanded and restrained - I went with a retro tan color - delivered and set up with Simonis 860.
Only way I’ll get rid of it is if we move and I loose the space.
This only leaves me room for three pins but still worth it.

I had a neighborhood party in my game room two weeks ago, 65 people, "bring a dish to pass around" on the invite.
I put the vinyl cover over the table and it became the go-to place for the food brought in. Once we figured out what was accumulated, I set up two folding tables and the stuff migrated to those and the bar. Removed the cover, and we were once again playing pool for the rest of the evening. Always a hit during a party.
Must have a pool table.
Quoted from ramegoom:Must have a pool table.
Yup, just uncovered mine, cleaned the table and balls. She's all set for today's
annual Feb. Party. 60 last year, and many more the year before, so probably
some place in between..
The pool table gets played quite a bit anyway, but a few of the league players
I'm sure will show up, so it'll probably get played pretty much non-stop..
No video of a couple weeks ago party, or had you already posted it?
I have a 7' Brunswick home model so it's made a little on the cheap. Not even a slate surface but it's been moved several times and the one I learned to play on decades ago. Someday if/when I have more room I'll set it up. Currently do not miss it, rather be playing pinball!
