IMHO, not really a great loss to walk away from, there are better games out there for $500 that pop up once in a while. Don't get caught up in making the deal just to get it.

    Quoted from agodfrey:

Cheap skating is failing me. Offered $200 then 250 then 300 then 350 for a Magnotron EM. Guy isn't budging. We'll see. I'd love to have it....but not for the 500 he wants.......sigh

There's no harm in that. It's okay to be a cheap bastard when buying games but I'd rather be a smart cheap bastard and not miss out on something in great condition that I've been looking for for a long time.

    Steve

    Quoted from Black_Knight:

Yeah, I talked to o-din about his and there was also one on eBay this week, either of those would exclude me from the cheap bastard club!
I asked, but the burger time doesn't work and she wasn't prepared to sell it now anyway.

At that time, we were buying out of state pins in bulk deals (100 or more) from route ops for $25 each plus shipping and clearing out old warehouses. I miss those days too.

    Steve

    Quoted from FrankJ:

I was in Central Florida from the mid 1980's to the late '90's. I got more pins than I could handle. I know it has gotten more competitive everywhere, but I got pins much easier and for less money there than anywhere else I've lived since then. I miss those days. Good luck in the search!
