For sale is a 1980 Williams Blackout. Game is complete, lights up on power up, but doesn't boot. Displays look nice but don't light up, possibly related to the game not booting? Looks like one of the transistors is fried on the power board. I can tell it's been replaced before, so there might be some sticky switches on the playfield or something. The coil for the front drop targets has been replaced a couple times, gotta be related to the transistor situation. All the drop targets do move and operate freely. Flippers are newer and move freely, just need to be adjusted. Everything else looks original and nice, component-wise. Electronic repairs could be cheap, could be expensive. I guess it depends on how well you know system 6 games! I don't know them at all so it's best I not dive into trying to fix it for him.
There is some playfield wear in the typical areas along with some insert cupping as can be expected with games of this age. The owner says it's been in his home for about 20 years. I did clean up a few areas to show that the playfield has still got some good shine to it, didn't really come out in the pictures too well, though. Colors on everything are still nice a vibrant: playfield, cabinet, and backglass. Backglass does have a few scratches in it, but none of them are in the mirrored areas, from what I could see. Cabinet has minimal wear and the hardware is in fantastic shape considering its age. Honestly, this game looks like once the electrics are fixed and the playfield gets a good scrub down, this would make a great player's game. Pictures should speak for themselves, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Might be willing to ship, but I'd have to ask the owner and would be entirely at the buyer's expense. I don't think delivery is possible, I don't have a vehicle for it, not sure if the owner does either. I'd have to ask. Would prefer a local/within California sale. Looking for $600 obo.
