I've been reading about more and more young people who "pretend" that they are sponsored. So, they go on a vacation, paid for with their hard-earned money, yet act as if they were comped it by the hotel and airline.
So we've gotten to the point where earning your money through actual work is seen as less desirable to the point of lying about it.
