Hey guys. My first pon I ever bought was who dunnit, and it single handlednly propelled me into the pinball hobby. I honest to God bought a pin for "the old people" when they came to my arcade.... this was 20 years ago. Lol

Anyhow, getting another one in about a week, and it looks to be in pretty good shape. However, the middle reel is askew:

The guy says it is close to corect, but the spin is just off kilter. Without the game in front of me, what does this look like to you guys? Broken real? Something worse? Anyone come across the rewl spinning in the general neighborhood of where it should be, but not quite, like this?

I saw that, but I wasn't sure it was detailed or specific enough for this case. All they did was shave down one side of the shaft. They didnt go into detail what that even does or what the next steps are.

Anyone experience this one in real life?

We need more ramps:
- Main Ramp A-20420
- Scoop Ramp 03-9412

Instead of the set screw trying to hold a round shaft it has a flat to bite into. That's what it does and after doing it I haven't had any issues

Okay that, that makes perfect sense. Thank you.

Hello Who?Dunnit club members......

Was wondering if anyone has access to 0.6 code. The release notes mention a 0.6 revision, but can't find it anywhere. I'm actually running 0.4 proto code because the 1.0+ revisions have 3-bank issues (bugs)..... and the 'no max' jackpot value is cool too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks all!

Anyone doing an update on the code anyone willing to do it .
I know there's a guy in Germany here on pinside I think his name is Soren that can do it

Know what would be an awesome mod for this game is if someone 3d printed little underlays that go under the clue inserts so they only lit the actual picture and not the whole rectangle. I had something like this on my Metallica that made the crosses light up and not the whole insert.

BTW, with my slot reel not lining up: my wheel was not perfectly circular, and had to be replaced. It was rubbing and that was the issue. New perfectly shaped reel works perfectly.

Can anyone recall a place where I could buy the clear aup down ramp and possibly also a flap? the one on this machine is shot and needs replacement. I can't even find a part number.

The other item is the wiring harness for the slot machine. This machine had none. I bought one, but the harness is missing. The headers which need to be supplied are shown in the pic. The headers I have on the wiring harness under the playfield have a few open connectors, but thats it. What is issing in between? Can anyone help out in any way? Schematic? anything?

If I knew the name of that part, it would al be easy. I do have the manual. The schematics will be helpful thanks.
If anyone can maybe post a photo of the harness, it would help a lot, in figuring it out.

Here's a couple of pics for you.

You're not going to find that ramp anywhere.
I'm in the middle of restoring my Who dunnit and my ramp was in bad shape also.
I made a new one out of a piece of lexan.
And cut a new flap from these flap squares Marco sells.

This is the place to go for part look up.

Who dunnit is in the Grey parts manual.
ramp is on page 3-42GD, Part number A-20494

#1116 34 days ago

Thanks guys,

The ramp entry I also found out doesn't exist. I will machine it with the help of a friend. The cable harness will be made by an enthusiast over here, so this is really good news. chipleader the photos will help thank you. He will do that and make a flap to connect to the ramp part. Can't wait to have the machine complete again. IT was without the slot machine for years - now it has one again.

The owner of a plastics-shop in Germany offered to laser the plastic component for me based on a scan. If anybody wants one, please let me know. I will then post pricing information and can ship to everyone as a letter. I don't expect this to be expensive.

Ahhh interesting. I have encountered this recently & it ticked me off. I'm trying to sell my Who Dunnit this weekend at the Midwest Gaming Classic, but if it doesn't sell I'm buying one of these! Great solution man. Love it. Heck I might buy one just to support the cause.
