Jim's taking a break from pinball for the time being, and has returned to his love of restoring cars. I think he'll be back in pinball, but I would be surprised if he ever did restorations for people again, and even more surprised if I ever saw him on Pinside again.

He's an awesome guy and an incredible resource in this community...and a big loss for Pinside, IMO. (And yes, I know he poked more than a few of you, but I thought it was pretty funny - he kicked my ass many times.)

    Quoted from Jam_Burglar:

That's really cool of him to let your mom live at his house!

    LOL! Syntax is fun.

I think it sucks! If it weren't for guys like Jim Mccune,Bryan Kelly,Chris Hutchins,Vid and Mike D. Most of us wouldnt have learn how to make our machines look and play better than new. Theses guys are our treasure here on pinside.

    And me. Especially me.

Bryan is too old to be able to go that long.

Sure he is. He's got the blue pills. I seen 'em at TPF.

    Quoted from NPO:

What issues was he having? Was it just drama/nitpicking from people? I'm curious now.

Or we can just be respectful of whatever issues he was having and not discuss them in an open forum without the guy around to respond.

    Quoted from NPO:

Fair enough. To be clear, I was not trying to instigate anything. I must have missed the drama.
In retrospect, it was a bad inquiry on my part. No disrespect of McCune was intended.

I love it when I come across real men on this site. Thanks for your post. And I didn't mean to attack you or criticize you - I was just trying to nip it in the bud before this thread became a shit show. It only takes one asshole.

    I should know.

    Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

Um....I think you have Pinside mixed up with that "other" site, Boob. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

You picked up on that when you met me in the bathroom at TPF, didn't you?

    Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Boob, you gotta get some at home!!!

    I do. At your home.
