What would you think the value is on a TWD Pro that was on route for a short period of time? No major mods.

#2 7 years ago

$4400 - I have seen routed ones go for $4000 however.

#3 7 years ago

Well huo ones around 4500 with mods take a little while to sell so ......

#4 7 years ago

If you are buying $4K but if you are selling $4.5K. So.... somewhere in the middle.

#5 7 years ago

I miss the old days when a Stern lost about $500-1000 the second someone opened the box.

#6 7 years ago

Take fifteen hundred off NIB price for being used. Adjust for condition. Compare marketplace prices. Recent listings have between around 4k.

#7 7 years ago

Pretty solid advice all through out this thread imo.

#8 7 years ago

$4k max for a routed unmodded one. Id much rather spend the extra $500-$1k for a modded HUO one.

#9 7 years ago

$4k max for me. I would go new if it's more than that.

#10 7 years ago

Ok, so from what everyone is saying I've come to the conclusion that the one I'm interested in should be $4-4200.

I am looking at possibly trading my HUO TSPP for it and figured some $$ needed to come my way on it.

#11 7 years ago

4500 seems to be going rate for huo

Sld b about a even trade. ....a few local huo tspp were sitting around 4200-4300 for a while

If both pins are HUO, that's a really good example of a fair 1-for-1 (no cash either way) trade.

I agree! Mine is HUO, his was on location for a little while, said it has ballpark 5k plays.

If its complete stock; i'd say about $500 should come your way...depending on how nice your HUO TSPP is.

My TSPP is pretty nice. The only flaw I've noticed is some scratching on the back where the previous owner used an aluminum dolly on it, it might come off somewhat easily, I haven't tried.

Here a few pics of my TSPP. It's a bummer I'm not a Simpson fan because it's a great design/layout/rules, etc

I would not trade for a huo tspp for w.d pro... go for a premiumn and pay alittle! You will be glad you did, premiumn ,le is a way better machine than the pro..good luck

Not a bad suggestion, I have thought about this a little, may look into it more.

#20 7 years ago

I would say the PRO is WAY better on TWD. Make sure you play them both and decide for yourself before doing anything.

I prefer the pro much more than the prem on that deck.

I also like the Pro better on TWD. But it is simply addition by subtraction. The lights are better on the prem/LE. However I never liked the BG ramp, and the crossbow just doesn't do anything for me. Walker bombs do, but as Steve says, "play better", so then they don't matter (IMHO).

#22 7 years ago

I wouldnt trade my HUO TSPP for a routed TWD

You should keep TSPP and buy a NIB TWD

#23 7 years ago

I'm no hurry to sell TSPP, but I was thinking I could sell it and put a few hundo towards a NIB pro, but now I think I'm leaning towards a White water. Decisions, decisions, decisions

#24 7 years ago

I sold a HUO TWD pro for 4300 last year if that's any help.

#25 7 years ago

That was the one I had. Seems like HUO go around that price and routed around $4k, would rather have huo

#26 7 years ago

I do buy pros TRON and MET, but on TWD the premium is the way to go. Played both and in the end it was not much of a choice for me. I also have a MINT HUO TSPP . TWD is a much better game.

Me too pro is the way to go on twd.

That being said, more important than being routed - how many plays/any wear?

The one I was looking at showed 5250 plays. He said the only wear was in the shooter lane, which I did see a picture of.

#29 7 years ago

Hmm, thats pretty high I wouldnt do more than 4k on it. Not sure on the value of the tspp, but I wouldnt take less than 500 with twd. In fact I just pay the extra and find a huo with only a few hundred plays.

Yeah he was offering me his TWD plus $200 for my game. I thought that was too low. I didn't feel too good about buying a routed game for a few hundred difference than what I could find a HUO game for so I passed. Depending on how much I get out of TSPP I was thinking of just buy a NIB.

#31 7 years ago

Nice HUO TSPP sold at York for $4650 I believe.
Sell outright & buy NIB

#32 7 years ago

The cross bow ,extra magnet, walker bombs, extra bash toy bicycle girl, realy is beter than pro, the ramp for bicycle girl is not as smooth by far.....if you adjust it and adjust the machine it plays well...get a premiumn and then get pro metalica which I think is the best pro out there, never trade huo for routed game!!!!!

#33 7 years ago

Don't forget real lockdown, workrails , spinners , and color changing GI

Quoted from Whysnow:

You would say that and you'd be wrong.

The LE/Prem is one of the few games where I find them to be significantly better than the pros. The lifting ramp, the crossbow, and ESPECIALLY the bombs make for a big improvement in gameplay.

If I could get that out of mine I would have no problem buying NIB. I wish I would have thought to take mine up to Expo next week and maybe I could get that much out of it.

I'm hearing mixed reviews on TWD pro vs. premium. What do premiums go for on the 2nd hand market?

6200-6500 depending on mods and location but they rarely come up for sale it seems

#38 7 years ago

Completely forgot spiners I dnt care for the lower rt one but at least you have two to spin. Lock down ? Not sure what that is...but go premiumn on twd it's the better choice!!! Cost is alot more but worth it....try and get 5 for tspp and $1500 is pretty much the xtra ,go thru tilt 6800 nib...again good luck

How many games played on your tspp, I have alittle over 3000 games on my TSPP and if you have less than that it is not a good trade, not sure what machines in cinncy go for, but here in California I'm sure I could get 5000 for mine and would buy new w.d premiumn, I'm pretty sure tilt can deliver for 6800 cash...unless they went up from the time I bought mine 2015 last october, I had to have it for halloween....happy pinballing!!!

#40 7 years ago

Just checked your collection, sweet t.z ,taxi, tftc 3 of my faves, sold taxi and tftc to move fwd on new better games I would not sell tspp.. I'd get rid of some of those 80's games first I do wish I didn't sell tftc , my 4yr old wouldn't go near it. Sold it bought taf to replace the limited valuable space I have, plus the newer dmd games get more play than my older games, nice to have so much space, I do like your collection!!!!

#41 7 years ago

Thanks for the compliments on my collection, I'm very proud to have the collection I do have, they range from players games to restored or ones I bought NIB. I am actually driving distance from Tilt and have bought a couple NIB games from him. I don't think I want to sell the older games like Taxi. They aren't worth as much and I like having a diverse collection, games from all decades and eras. I like Simpsons and all, but don't think I want it in my collection long term. I know I would enjoy playing it at other people's houses and all, but I'm just not a big Simpsons fan.

TSPP don't go for $5k around here, a HUO should bring around mid 4's though.

I paid exactly $4K for a TWD Pro this week

Got it from a local collector/pinsider. I didn't even ask but I'm purdy sure its HUO.

$4K is my personal ceiling for a Pro. Any more than that & I'd just go NIB. Better to pay $5K for a NIB game delivered to my driveway vs paying $4500 to move a game twice & drive a million miles.

You got a very fun game at a reasonable price. I was getting frustrated seeing used games for 4500+ (and not very close to home) so just bought a NIB and I'm a happy camper. I'm getting a bit tired of seeing overpriced used games when someone else can deliver it to my door with a warranty for just a few more bucks. Not really a fan of someone else's mods either especially when it artificially inflates the price further.
