Someone please sell me their reasonably priced Junk Yard or TX-Sector!! I've been on the hunt for years!
Alternatively, I’m always on the hunt for fun oddball Gottlieb games like Cactus Jacks, Big House, and Bone Busters.

Quoted from Frax:There's no such thing, and there never will be. Junkyard was overpriced at like 4000, and it's severely overpriced with people selling them for like 7000 now.
Are they really selling for that much though? Agree $4k is overpriced, and my budget isn’t much more than that. It’s not a very good game… I’m just terribly nostalgic for it and it’s the last “nostalgia buy” for me.
Quoted from Frax:Who knows...but you ain't going to find one for 4k right now unless you just stumble on a garage find or something at a yard sale, heh.
I’d say my budget is around $5k for a reasonable Junk Yard that won’t need much work.
Agree though!! It’s a tough game. My only gripe is the frequent stopping of play for all of the video modes.
So, I have my eye on a game at TPF that I'd really like to buy. Lets say I pull the trigger on the game. As an out-of-towner, I have no way to drive the game home, obviously. I've read that there's a shipper at the show? How does that work, and has anyone bought a game at this show and have had it shipped back home?
Quoted from pinhead52:yea... just stop by their booth, break out the plastic and say "Make it so". What could be easier?
Forgive my ignorance, but is it really that easy? The world of shipping games is completely out of my wheelhouse.
Just finished speaking with Dino, the shipper at TPF. Palletizing and and wrapping will be our responsibility, as will transporting it to the shipping terminal. Just a heads up for people (like me) who will by flying in to town. Makes it difficult because I'd now have to rent/borrow a truck to get it to the terminal already palletized with the exact dimensions.
Quoted from Nevus:Hmmm. That’s not exactly how I imagined it. If you have to do all that, arranging the shipping from the terminal is the easy part.
Agree. I was hoping I could just bring a folded game up to the shipper and say "this is where I need it delivered, how much would it be?"
I was quoted $425 shipped terminal to terminal, and an extra $165 if I wanted it shipped to my door.
But this is just a few hoops too many. Doesn't make it convenient at all, really. I'll have no access to a truck, or a pallet to get it from the show to a terminal.
