Hello,
I am new to the club and just got a RG project started.

I found one extra Slot Machine plastic in the box.
If anyone needs one let me know.

I am looking for Translite for RG since my is totally missing.

Thanks,
Bud

DJ, I initially had an issue with the ramp too.
For me it was making sure the pin was in the guide stainless steel clip that is riveted to the clear ramp.
Then the RED main ramp was too low and as the clear ramp went up it briefly hit the RED main ramp.
Once I raised the RED ramp 1/4 inch with no contact between the ramps it operated smoothly.

Just FYI, toberlindacher got the slot machine plastic.
He said that was the last piece needed to complete his RBG.

Just fired up my barn RBG project. (new DP playfield swap)
First time this thing has seen power in over 10 years. (new Xpin displays)
Bench testing, don't worry I have been an EE for 30 years. (safety first, connect the Earth grounds!)
Playing on the rack is fun ! (easy to cheat)
Just need to touch up the cabinet and put it all back together.
Thanks to Matt Adams in the UK for the perfect Sys11C CPU.

Just got mine together last weekend too.
I am still working to track down a backglass.
If anyone knows where to find one, let me know.

Quoted from Ericpinballfan:

Do you have anything, broken glass?
Back glass repro might have it on file.

I got it with no glass. (was kind of a mess)

I would take the film OR the film attached to glass.

I have not heard of 'back glass repro'. (any info would be welcomed)

I did have member of this group offer to scan his glass to make my own repro.

If there is an easier way please let know know of it.

Thanks for any ideas,
Bud

Finally, a backglass for my RBG !

Special thanks to NSMITH for starting this forum and providing me with the scan for the Translite !

This was quite an experience, now just need to find another frog to turn into a princess !

Quoted from jibmums:

This little bracket is probably an unobtainium piece, but easy enough to remake. Would anyone mind taking measurements of theirs for me? Thanks!

A really great find.

I sprayed my buttons with Rustoleum 2x Clear to protect the lettering three years ago. (masked off so just lettering was sprayed)
The lettering is still perfect to this day.

The factory lettering seems to be easy to rub off.

Quoted from BertoDRINK1:

Going to shop out this RB this weekend and install Comet Sunlight Led's.
It came with a set of new lockdown buttons also. Are there any recommendations on protecting the text, should I tape them off and clear over the text? Seems like it will just rub off after a short amount of time.

I sprayed mine with Rust-Oleum 2X clear 5 years ago and they still look good.
I masked off everything except text areas. (button face)
