6k. I think that’s the key threshold for selling pins in any sort of volume. I like the theme and if done right, I would scrape up 6k for one.

Obviously we wouldn’t expect WOZ features from a low cost pin but, something in line with LOTR or SM would come to mind for me at the 4.5k-5.5k range. With features and design in par with those titles and that price range, I think many mid-range collectors could acquire even if they had to dump a title or two from their current line up to fund it.
Problem is that when you start getting up to 7k plus, most of your average working stiffs with families are priced out and your only target are a handful of high end collectors with deep pockets. Sort of sucks for the hobby as a whole but, at least there are pins still being made and keeps the topics of discussion going.
I for one would love to see (once again) a fun deep pin with a reasonable sum of features that most could afford if they wanted it bad enough.
