I usually explain that TV prices are over-inflated for dramatic effect.
Also, that dragging a non-working game out of a basement is like buying a broken down used car from your neighbor down the street versus going to a car dealership in the city with a dozen employees and a big showroom. Ebay would be the dealership, in this example.
