Check bushing for ramp solenoid. Mine was broken even though it seemed to work.
Quoted from dddanielll:Yeah the whole ramp is molexed from the bottom. I was able to bend the lamp sockets so they snuck through the holes in the ramp but the switches you’ll definitely have to resolder.
Well it would seem that you can change the switches & lamp sockets from one ramp to the other without de-soldering. You need to take the switches out of their brackets & bend the diode so it's against the switch body. The switch goes through the hole first followed by the lamp socket. The 2 connections with the wires on them go through first & need to be pointing towards the front of the ramp. The switch will then "roll" through hole if that is the way to describe it. Then the lamp socket follows. The mounting bracket needs to be bent in a little to the body so it will squeeze through the hole. The whole operation took me less than 2 hours which included polishing up the brackets etc & adding extra cable ties to the loom.

Currently, I'm cleaning my Popeye, which I bought last year as my first pinball machine.
While removing all playfield parts, I noticed that there are two transparent blue star posts that are slightly higher than the others:
15 standard posts: 03-8319-10 - 1 1/16 inches high
2 longer posts: 03-8370-10 - 1 3/16 inches high.
I've attached an image showing both of them. According to the parts list, it's correct that there are two of them.
As my game was previously cleaned by the last owner, the longer posts were mounted in random places on the playfield (one at the left slingshot and the other on Bluto's right cheek).
Unfortunately, I cannot find the correct locations for the longer posts with pictures or videos from the internet. It would be a big help if some of you could look into this. Maybe there are more games with the posts in the wrong places? I think it would be nice if we could reach a consensus on their correct location.
Best regards from Germany,
Erik
