Cool thread, combine two of my favorite hobbies, pinball and rides. This is my 1968 Chevrolet Beaumont custom. For my American friends its a GM "A" body platform made in Canada only. Its all Chevelle except it has a GTO dash and year specific front and rear treatments. Its one of 3744 V8 cars for the year. My pin hauler is a 2011 F150 4X4. I know ,I know whats a GM classic car guy doing with a ford...truth is it was to good a deal to pass up, and in fact I really like the truck. 3.7 V6 runs great and does what I need it to do. Cheers.

Quoted from SilverUnicorn:

Nice ride! That is very unique and I have never seen one of those before. Nothing wrwong with having a GM and a Ford. It's like Having a Williams and a Stern pinball machine at the same time
Chris

Funny, never thought of it that way.I guess for time eternal is always been one or the other in the car crowd,,,

Quoted from Darcy:

Looks great! Did it have a Vinyl Roof at one time? Beaumonts and Acadians in Canada, Chevelle and Nova in the USA. (Depending Year, and Body)

I thought the same thing about a vinyl roof until I did the research, turns out that if you ordered the custom trim package you could order option D-99 which is the rear chrome trim. It's actually stamped on the trim code badge.

Quoted from Meegis:

Just curious about the members in this thread....
At what point do you consider yourself more into pins or more into cars?
I'm contemplating a stupid purchase (I know it's purely a whim)
I just haven't created the mountain of the decision yet.
The money is a question, but not unattainable and no, there will be likely no return on value invested.
Just curious to what extent would you put yourself out to make a knowingly dumb purchase.
Sorry for the wordy ask, but really kind of wavering here and not sure what to do.
And for the non Canadians (most of you) keep in mind my purchase would likely be at retail plus shipping plus a 37% exchange rate and another 13% tax.
Ugh

Don't do it meegis, buy local if ya can! Just sayin....
