Pinbot coils only work in test mode

Just as it reads. Game supposedly worked 100% when I got it, I tore it down and put it back together.
Switch and lamp matrix test is all good. Coils and flashers all fire in test mode.
When I start a game, the ball doesn't eject to the shooter lane.
I'll manually do it, start a game. Pop bumpers work fine. Any other hole (saucer, eyes) register on switches but never triggers the coil.
Any ideas? I just rebuilt the power supply, replaced all caps and bridges. Game seems fine otherwise.

Do the kickers work? They should behave the same as the pops (special solenoids).

Does the game mode seem otherwise normal?
Does it score points, advance ball count, etc.?
Just wondering if it's somehow not actually starting a game.

Are the switch rows/columns plugged in the correct spots? The WHITE/*color* (row) goes to J10 and the GREEN/*color* (column) goes to J8.

Put it in switch test mode or coil test mode to see if they work.

Yep, game plays fine otherwise. Switches and lamps behave as they should.

Only anomaly is that the motor isn't hooked up but that shouldn't matter.

I posted this rapidly earlier, I just tested again and it's a bit different than described:

Only the eyes, saucer, and shooter lane eject solenoids aren't firing.

Ramp, drop target bank, trough kicker all work fine in game play.

There is a test at power on involving the motor and visor open/close switches, you are not completing this test and the CPU maybe disabling these solenoids.

Interesting point! I'm waiting on a new target bank mounting bracket this week and will report back!

This was totally it.
Was playing a game today with the playfield up - got the skill shot, locked a ball. When I hit one of the switches, the ball trough shot it out.
