Quoted from thedefog:Being 32, I always wanted a Ducktales pin when I was growing up. The theme practically writes itself...
The main goal - Fill up the money bin! Points are $$$. Features and modes like:
- Launchpad crash landing ramp - "Hang on Mr. Mc D.....Crash! Bang!"
- Bubba & Tootsie "whack" targets
- Huey, Dewey, and Louie multi-ball
- Gyro's repair shed - ball lock for on the fly extra ball
- Beagle Boys pop up and block spots on playfield
- Transform Fenton Quackshell into Gizmoduck for a mega bonus
- A Magica De Spell mode that tries to screw you up by flipping around flipper controls randomly
- A Flintheart Glomgold steal-mode that takes money out of the bin/your score if you fail to reach something before him
- Save WebbyI could go on for a while with this one. I considered mocking something up in VP, but never got around to it.
FINALLY, someone else brings up this theme! I've been saying it for years, but never heard of anyone else that agreed. I've been dreaming of making a custom Duck Tales game for a long time, but it probably won't ever happen. I'm several years older than you, but I played the crap out of the NES game back in the late 80's and early 90's. There's a ton of material there to make a great pin....
FWIW, there is a Duck Tales pin game online somewhere. It doesn't have any ramps (or much of anything for that matter) but it's something. If I can find it again I'll post a link.
