I think they are restricting sales because they don't want to have more opposing fans in their barn.
I have a feeling many leaf fans will be buying on the secondary market.
(It's actually cheaper to fly to Miami, rent a car, rent a hotel and buy tickets.....than it is to just buy tickets for the maple leaf home games)

About a dozen coworkers flew down to Anaheim a few years ago for an Oilers playoff game. Flights, hotels, tickets and cab fare cost less than just tickets in Edmonton.
(I think they got a couple hot dogs and beers included with the tickets or promotion they got)

The ref for the Oilers/Knights game last Saturday was doing a great job explaining his calls. I was pleasantly surprised.
Seems like the refs could use a class in publicly explaining how they've come to the conclusion to their calls or reviews.
Is it time for the NHL to adapt some type of VAR like they have in tennis and world cup soccer? (Where the puck/ball/etc can be tracked even if covered or smothered)

Worse reffing I've seen in a long time. And that says something.
9 misconducts penalties so far. (10 if you count Staals 2x misconduct)

Good call. I managed to snag 3 tickets for a game against Carolina on December 6th instead. ($200CAD all in)
That's it though....no more than 3 Oilers games for me this year!!

Mike Commodore on the Babcock fiasco in Columbus. You can say he's bitter and has an axe to grind with Babcock, but he makes very valid points.
