I couldn't justify $200+ for the awesome Tron arcade cabinet mod. I decided to follow the DIY that Tilt posted over at pinhacks (http://pinhacks.com/showthread.php?tid=65). I think it looks pretty good.

Just fell out of my chair laughing. Well said....I am a sucker for anything flashing. BTW, I really enjoyed the arcade cabinet mod. My wife does all the graphic arts work and I do all the wiring stuff. The EL wiring stuff comes in later this week.

Also, I received the extra 2d translite rolled up in the tube. Not sure if I'll ever use it as the 2 chick translite rocks.
Yes, a loud spinning disc motor is "normal". I contacted Stern today and they recommended putting a few drops of 3 in 1 oil on each shaft of the motor. It will be a weekend project for me.
