Planning my first Playfield/Machine restore for my 6M$M and got my new CPR in. Overall looks good, some slight debris in the clear in spots but the major area in question is the Right Special Insert which has some raised bubbles in the clear that can be felt. Obviously I'm not doing anything right now as I'm letting it cure flat...but when the time comes, should I just tape off and spot treat this area with some wet sanding 1500 to 2000 grit and polish compound and finish off with an random orbital. I'm pretty good with fine detail stuff but don't want to ruin the clear or have this re cleared as it looks pretty solid overall...Not HEP standards but I'd say an 8 out of 10 to my eye. Pretty damn nice overall and I'm wondering if I'm being too nitpicky

The more I look now, the more I'm considering sending it back...I have some, what appears to be, pooling area in the blue section ...it's subtle but once seen I can't unsee it...It is similar to an area that would go under the plastics so I've included photos of both areas to give an idea what i mean...the blue clear wave isn't noticeable to the touch but the corner under the plastic definitely is...it looks like the clear was put on a little too thick and bulged in some areas slightly

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Yeah send that back if you cannot sand and polish it yourself at a minimum. The runs in the playing surface will lead to unnatural game play.
CPR is usually pretty good when things are obvious like this not ambiguous.

Thank you Chris, I wasn't sure if my expectations were too high

Anyone have a direct email or phone number for them, their website only has a form page and I get no confirmation other than the website that it's been sent...

To top it off, I just noticed the art alignment especially at the saucer hole

Emails sent, hoping for an exchange but now notice they are out of stock

Again this is all nitpicky 1% stuff on my part, but I just want to get this project off on the right foot before doing all this work

Thomas has been great. Just got another email, they are going to look at it and if they can take it to wood without losing too much and reprint they will otherwise he said it's only about 3 months to another run. So that's better than a couple years. Overall, I'm happy and they had great customer communication
