Have a chance to buy either a NBAFB or JM. Both are priced around the same and in excellent shape. I have Shadow and love how balanced the scoring in and how there are multiple strategies to score big (modes, multiballs, venegance, battlefield.) I know JM is ranked slightly higher- is it much better? I'm a big NBA fan so I love that theme but I'm willing to sacrifice theme for gameplay

Both by George Gomez. I'd say NBAFB.

+2 for JM. 1 from me and 1 from TheLaw

I like JM more from a gameplay perspective, but the scoring is the exact opposite of Shadow -- correctly stacking Spinner Millions is the most lucrative strategy by far. NBAFB's scoring is pretty balanced, but the layout and variety aren't as great, in my opinion. Don't think you could go wrong with either, but I'd vote for JM. For a home game where you can aim for different objectives rather than focusing solely on the spinner and points, JM has more to explore.

JM has it all.

Cool modes. Amazing layout. FASTest pin i've ever played, by far. Downside is the stupid hand, but you can disable.

Midnight Madness too!

JM is an underrated game, get it.

That’s a tough one. I had them both. Sold them both. Regret selling both.

Can’t go wrong with either. Both underrated & excellent games.

I remember when operators couldn't get rid of NBAFB at $1k in the mid-2000's. And they were in nice condition because no one played them. I'd still take NBA

I've owned JM and played a lot of NBAFB. I'd pick NBAFB and I'm not a basketball fan. Balanced scoring, good layout and good call outs. JM is good too, just not as good.
