I ended up fabricating these ball guides myself. My local hardware store sells strips of aluminium which just needed to be cut to size. Being the first time I've ever tried to fabricate a missing part, it was a little messy, but I got there in the end. One of the guides is a little off centre and they are a very tight fit, but they are strong and solid. Drilling the screw holes in the correct spots was the most frustrating part. In the end I had to elongate some holes to get the screws to fit. Turns out my machine had slightly different measurements to ones given to me by another DW owner. Nevertheless, it is all together now and working well!
