Checking out my new purchase, and note that the dmd driver is pumping out -139vdc on pin one, and -124vdc on pin two. What would drive the voltages up?

Some people put in semiconductors with different values to extend the life span of the dot matrix display.
But this shortens the life span of new dmds when put in.
So i would recommend a HV rebuild kit to solve the problem and save your display.
Any number of stressed or improper value components in the display HV section. Id start checking and measuring components and making sure the right ones are there.
