It's like when G or D is lit E comes on also. Could that be a short somewhere? Could the decoder be bad?

I think I'll pass on the hooking up the second glass. I keep seeing that sticker that says Danger High Voltage.
I think you might be right about the short in the glass. I remember seeing an illuminated dot in the corner. I think it was on the 1,000,000 digit between the D and E segments.
I'll just install this display at player 4 until I find another display. No big deal.
