It's a spring that's on the kickout holes for the ball locks. It goes on the plunger for the coil, and forces the armature to return to retracted position after the coil fires. I estimate it's about 2" long and 1/2" wide coil, 9 or 10 wraps. Somehow, I seem to have lost the stupid thing for ONE of the coils and I can't find a replacement part number in the manual. Williams doesn't give exploded views of the assemblies in the Shuttle manual.

I have three springs...two off the slingshot armatures, and one off the trough assembly...sure do look the same to me as the one that's on the other eject... if someone knows any better, let me know. The trough is the last thing going on the playfield underside so I'm just going to scavenge this bitch and keep working for now...

Could really use an assist on this one, I can't figure it out. =\

Is it the same as on the flippers?

Nope. It's not tapered. I thought I had mentioned that, whoops!

Manuals for my games don't show a part number for that spring either.

I'm sorry where is the Emergency?

If you don't figure it out I can pull one off a parts playfield and send it to you.

It's called a figure of speech. The emergency is that I will need to place an order for some other parts from PBL and I didn't want to pay 10$ shipping for one spring heh. I should have the underside of this stupid thing done in another few days....wanted the part on hand when I get to the trough so I don't have to go back in and mess with it. We'll see. Thanks for the offer.

That's the one on the actual armature, not on the solenoid plunger.

Wasn't sure if this one would work or not...it looks to only be about 2/3rds the length of the ones I have on hand. But that's exactly what it looks like..only longer. If these turn out to be bigger gauge wire with more tension, no biggie, will work just as well.

And this wasn't a necessary post. What's your point?

SWEET. That's the one. I don't tend to shop Marco and had gone through Shuttle's section on there, but that looks like the exact same thing.
