City Slicker
Bally, 1987Have a City Slicker and it has no sound. I have 5v at the test point. I dont see any flashes when the game boots. Not sure when the sound board leds are supposed to blink. If I hit the test button on the sound board I get nothing. If I turn the volume all the way up I have white noise. I clipped out C30 cap per bally service doc. Not sure where to go from here.
That is a Turbo Cheap Squeak board.

The LED should at least flicker right away.
If it's not flickering, I would suspect the 12V power supply to it.

12V comes in on pin 10.
There is a 7805 5V regulator.
TP1 should be 5V.

If the ROM was bad then yes, the LED would not blink. Could be the ROM socket too.
