Hello everyone. I have a captain fantastic that upon startup score reel 4 keeps continuously tries to reset itself. I’m new to em machines. Where should o start first. Have had the game for a couple of years, and this has happened before, but stopped after awhile. It doesn’t get a lot of play, so I’m thinking an adjustment or cleaning? Thanks,Joe

Okay so I tried to download a short video about what is happening in regards toy original post but no t won’t download for some reason, but the two relays on the right keep operating.the comment above said to check the zero switch. Where would that be located. Thanks, Joe

So it probably has nothing to do with any of the relays under the playfield in the bottom of the cabinet?

Ok checked that and adjusted it. Now the score motor continues to turn and the 2 nd relay from the top continues to clock. It will not allow another ball to be played. If you remove the ball it will stop. Also you cannot play more than one player. Unfortunately it does not get a lot of play time so it seems every time I want to play, something else is wrong. I have also included pics of the score reels and the switch positions if you can make them out.

I think I might have found part of the problem number four score reel. I removed it and this is what I found. Part of the mechanism is missing. Could the last owner have rigged this to get it to work?

Update. Replaced coil on score reel number 4. Reels reset and ball charges. Once the ball drains, the score motor continues to turn and the bonus relay clicks. Checked and cleaned bonus unit contacts. Advice from another person. Still no luck. What should I check next. Also will not go to next player if multiple players are selected
