Correct, in my experience. I replaced my original with a rottendog and all the sounds are still present; some are different, muffled. Pinbots voice is a little different sounding and some of the contact noises are muffled. The board runs flawless, after a week the differences in sound seem normal. Very happy with the rottendog!
