Slugfest !!!
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Lost in Space is sounding more reasonable now. Damn. Was hoping for Indy 500 this time.
Yep, that or Lost World JP. Both Borg/Sega with "Lost." as Quadrat noted above. As long as it isn't somehow Frankenstein...as I sold that yesterday :p.
Since the sky is in the background behind the sign, it is bound to be Lost in Space. It definitely will be a colorful release.
Always wonder how the next title is picked.....lost in space 600 units, JPLW even unknown - so do not think that will be a huge seller. So much time to colorize for only a small group of people.
Hmm. I believe Kiss had an album that was named something with sonic. Sonic boom perhaps?
If it is Kiss -Super
If it is Indy 500 -also great
Lost in space? Not so great
In the past, Sonic in the clues has indicated that the game is a Sega.
1. Get lost
2. Borg
3. Sega
See, it could still be either Lost in Space or Harley-Davidson (which started production as a Sega title before the company re-organized as Stern).
Kiss and ghostbusters have code updates coming. Wouldnt figure they would colorize until done. Nobody want to go back and touch it again if something changes.
I think they figured that out aftet Walking Dead.
Magicchiz
Quoted from GGG:Has nothing to do with space, Sonic is the lead character for Sega racing games, just a misdirect, it’s still indy500...
Colordmd would NEVER misdirect us!
Quoted from RatShack:The Indy 500 winner receives the Borg-Warner Trophy.
Holy crap. Nice work. Looks like I need to set aside $400.
Quoted from agodfrey:Is there a colorDmd tech thread? Have a tech question.
Start one or just ask.
I was just curious if anyone has been able to get the LVDS signal converted to DVI (or HDMI/VGA) so you can put it on another monitor or in my case use it as a video source for a stream. If not maybe I should work on it. Just seems better than putting a cam on the DMD

Oh if you could do that in a plug-n-play board at a reasonable price you'd have customers lined up around the block...and I'd be first in line.

This is a feature on the DMD Extender - a DIY alternative to ColorDMD that only gives displays three colors, rather than the full spectrum. But maybe the two approaches Can be integrated? Have a look:

I've looked in to the DMD extender. Doesn't carry the signal. It's an issues of converting the LVDS to something usable. There are converters but not sure if it's worth the trouble, risk, and cost...maybe . I work in video production so I buy stuff like this all the time but there is normally someone ELSE paying for my tinkering...haha
Quoted from BillPinball:LVDS signal? Acronym for...
Low Voltage Differential Signal, I think.
So the goal being to output the signal from the DMD? We did that over HDMI with the DMD extender. Heck wireless HDMI
Ah nevermind. I believe the goal is to output the colordmd signal. Haven't figured that one out yet. I think I mentioned the idea to Randy years ago though.
Alright they're finally getting the large format displays going. What are there, 4 of them? Once one is done expect the others in the not too distant future. The ColorDMD might be more expensive as it will require a larger LCD screen (17" vs the standard 15")
Quoted from pinlawyer:Would the company add a different size LCD screen simply to do four games?
Based on the clue posted above, yes. It's impossible to use their existing LCD size on these games.
Quoted from Taxman:Very possible it will be just LED version. But we will see.
Ahh good point I forgot about the LEDs. Either way it will need new larger hardware than previous games.
Better be Baywatch and not Maverick or Frankenstein if they are finally getting around to including the large Sega DMDs.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Clue 1 Game #71 looks to be a huge game changer.
That is AWESOME news!!!!
I REALLY hope this is for Baywatch!
Chads code and then ColorDMD would make this an A list title! I already love it, the new code takes ti to a whole new level, and now this....
fingers crossed!
