Quoted from Pinballer73:Any idea on their prices?
No, you would have to contact them for prices & minimum order quantity. Would be possible to use a freight forwarder to ship to Oz like priceusa.com.au & use their sea freight option. You can work out a quote from their site if you have the weight/dimensions of the roll.
Quoted from wontwa:If anyone knows of anywhere that has this 'Shockwave' pattern black light carpet in stock, I'd be forever grateful
http://www.valuecarpetonline.com/carpet-shockwave.htm. Dogs are an upgrade but if you are truly grateful, you'll post an after pic. Sometimes carpets take a few months to deliver but are beautiful.
I got mine at Flagship Carpet. Love the carpet, hated the experience getting it to me. You can read about the fun I had in this thread from 5 years ago.

Unfortunately they don't have it in stock, would need to make it, and would require a 12 x 40 order to do so. Looking over on KLOV there was a blowout of this design a few years ago and everyone's coming up empty, so I may have missed that window (or will need to bite the bullet and order a lot more than I'd need).
I would love to see pictures of these carpets installed. I've been contemplating this for a long time
I'm looking to get a bar table/table and chairs that will glow under blacklight. Anyone have something lime that?

I love the pattern, but I don't see it as orderable even from the manufacturer. Do you remember the name (and colors)?
We need enough to fill 30x16, so I don't think the minimum will be a problem if they can still print it.

I think it was discontinued. I think I still have the order form somewhere so I can check and see what the called it. Maybe they can still make it if you reference it by product name.

You're in luck, I do have it. Here's all the information for that specific carpet that Flagship put on their invoice. Oh and it looks like my customer service rep's name was Donna, so if you have a Donna helping you...say your prayers.
Quoted from jfesler:Thanks! I'm otherwise looking at this pattern. Not as subtle during the day. But it has a small enough repeat pattern for the space; and a lot of pop.
Whoever buys the house after me is gonna wonder WTF I put this in the dining/living rooms.
I like that. Where's that from?
Quoted from gliebig:Painted the other room black today. Still a work in progress.
I was eyeballing those tables.. how do you like it??

They are really neat
For you guys ready to buy carpet, use the 3/8 inch memory foam padding, I have it and love it. Got it at Menards when they had an 11% rebate. My carpet design is called Under the Sea. I also put a 20 inch florescent black light bulb on the underside of each game so the carpet lights up and matches the brightness of the open air part of the carpet. Your games look like they are floating on the carpet.

I've been looking to do this as well, wondering how you mounted the light under the game? I'd like to not screw one in and have the light be non-permanent. Been looking for the "best" way to accomplish that.
Also, here's a shot of my blacklight carpet I had installed over the winter after building out my arcade. I love space theme carpet, and love that this pattern doesn't seem to be widely used. It's a little more subtle on the amount of stuff that lights up, compared to the purple "nebula" style one. It was a toss up between those two patterns, but ultimately went with mine because of a larger pattern repeat (72x72 compared to 36x36).

Looks great! Link?
I went with Caldwell Carpet.
Super friendly and easy to deal with.
Shipping was dirt cheap and quick.
Finally got my new floors powered up. 385nm 27 watt LED bars under every other machine. Very minimal purple lighting, and lots of pop off the carpet.
Carpet is “Times Square” from Astro Carpet Mills.

Quoted from Colehvac1:I ordered from Tony at value carpet. His customer service was excellent, only took about 2 weeks from payment to delivery.
He has many designs in stock.

Link for the UV lighting?

Sorry I missed this earlier. I got mine from:
http://www.flagshipcarpets.com/#carpet-home$
It's the rocketshop pattern. They have tons of patterns available. Shipping was super easy and not really that much. At times they were slow on responses, but overall everything went fairly smooth. I'd order from them again if I ever decided to do this type of project in the future.
alveolus - the lights under my games are these:

I've already got the floor for my new arcade room picked out, but I'm thinking about using carpet like this on the _walls_, both for visual effect and for soundproofing. Has anyone here tried something like that?
