Amazing location with lots of love put into the machines. Super well maintained and lots of great titles rotated in. My favorite was Attack from Mars. It’s only $.50 a play for every machine and I seemed to be getting free games quite easily for an amateur (aka the machines are set up pretty easy). I played for an hour with only $4. I highly recommend this place. It’s to my knowledge that Mission Control (upstairs) is open to all ages up until 9pm when it becomes 21+ for the night. Enjoy!
Mission Control
This location is called Mission Control and is upstairs inside the McFadden Public Market.
If you go, trust the address. It doesn't look like a neighborhood for pinball. Once inside, go upstairs to the arcade/bar. Pinball is all .50/play. They also have over 30 arcade machines, many at .25/play. One pinball is downstairs at the back end of the food hall.
Three restaurants and a Tiki bar live downstairs.
There are parking garages available on 5th either side of Main St. The lot behind the market is for a different business unfortunately. Signs indicate that they will tow. I wouldn’t risk it. Metered parking is available all over as well.

If you visit OC this is your #2 go to spot for pinball. If you don’t like playing in a dark setting it’s best to go midday on a weekend. They do some trivia nights and have hosted some pinball competitions recently. All the machines are pretty well kept and if there is ever an issue with a game. The turnaround time to fix a game is pretty quick thus far. The taco place down stairs is great too!

Comment/Review (2019):
There is a parking lot kitty corner to the back entrance which is often free on weekends during daylight hours. Even if it's not free, it's reasonable. My son (Edawgg5) and I play here a lot, and the machines are very well maintained. Great place to hang out for an hour or two. There is a nice modern vibe to the bar area with a couple of TV screens and a projector usually playing an older sci-fi genre movie (star wars, blade runner, etc). Since we go quite a bit, we've talked to both the owner(?) and the technician, both really nice people and enjoy talking pinball. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.
Star Gazer is a tough machine, but I'm drawn to it as I love both the back glass and the sound. I recommend giving it a try, as there aren't too many around this area.
One final note: The food is hit and miss, many times the downstairs area is closed. So have a backup plan if you are visiting from outside the area. There are many authentic places to choose from within a block or two.
